In my research, it seems that period underwear and cloth incontinence products are tested either by the tsp method (one tsp at a time, wait 1 min.) or by immersion, neither of which is possible to be truly accurate for real use, but can make absorption quantity confusing for purchasers! Also, a lot of products/absorbing products require compression to properly absorb, which makes it challenging to test. Alas.
I agree, most test they do shows them pouring fluid back and fourth. I've never pee'd like that. So crazy.
