One of my all time favorite 77's tunes.
God used "Don't This Way" to help carry me thru my fathers suicide back in 1993. To say I'm grateful for this song would be an understatement.
Man, this song brings back so many memories from the early 90s and I was mesmerized by this tune from the first time I heard it, and have been since.
Simply the most underrated guitarist.
I grew up with this music. No matter what mood I'm in this music always calms me down and eases some of my pain. I love this band
Me too!!!
It’s hard to choose, but this one keeps winning first place for my all-time favorite 77 song. I was so blessed to hear them play in Chattanooga in the early 90s. Even though it’s a tough song to play, the live version was absolutely amazing! Peace.
I leapt inside when I found this!
I’ve always thought this song represented the purest electric guitar sound; as if it was invented just for this song.
Mike, you are your rotating gang of musicians have always been my favorites.
I pray your life is filled with divinely joyous discoveries; both musical and otherwise.
🥰🙏🏼🙌🏼
Mike Roe, among the best music talents I've ever heard. Seriously, this guy is really really superb, have taken note of his musical journey with admiration...from YC Ca.
Yuppers 💝
Like many of you making comments here, I grew up with this. Such wonderful, musical, amazing stuff.
Love the Curious Fools shirt on Mike. Brings back memories. This is one of the saddest songs....and most beautiful.
Its sad that more people don't know about him. He srsly is one of the best.
Thanks for posting!!!! saw the 77s 5 times and they never played this and this is one of my favorites
Dude, the voice. So smooth still.
Absolute gold. I'm so glad I found this....
This track, and Ache Beautiful, I am exceedingly happy to have just discovered online. I managed to losify my only disc copies back in the days before I had any machine able of copying them, and haven't managed to get new copies anywhere since.
I'm putting the link to this on my facebook profile.
Hey, Micro77s, if I ever get to set foot in the USA, it'll be to hear you play.
And as to Mark H.; awesomely beautiful harmonies. Well done!
Amazing guitarist
Love it. Thanks for posting this.
(and I love "Derry the Fairy" too!)
Give it back! 🙏
The live version of this from the DNA lounge is just great.
I have the boot of this show, but this is handier--thank you!
It's excellent as always, of course!
Love it!
this is really beautiful!
I'm still here, Mikes.
Holy Crap I was at this show. Sucks Spencer wasn't there but you get what you can get some times.
truly amazing. thx.

One of my all time favorite 77's tunes too. Makes me sad every time. Album version is better, of course, but this is great.
Wow.
does he mean that in the strictest sense
Ha! "Not that there's anything wrong with that."
Haha derry the fairy, the choir rocks, what happened to bands like this
what happened? to his 80s hair?
imagine? his hair in the 80s
that was before you had a wife to tell you how to do your hair? ;-)
