Thanks for making this available! And thank GOD for making Mike and the boys available to speak truth in such a unique and powerful way! Many years of smiles, tears, deep reflection and pure amazement listening to these guys. Undeniable talent and heart. And they still perform, support 'm!
AHHHH yessss!!! great tune!! thanks for posting these beautiful YELLOW SONORS!! A -TRAIN rockin' it HARD!! ....never saw the double bass set up???? ..please post MORE MORE MORE!!
Bob here: 77s' '88 is the best live concert album I've ever heard by a rock band. Almost as good as Beethoven's 9th, Bernstein conducting, in Berlin. Almost as good as Georg Handel, the original Rocker.
this is awesome footage...of one of my fav bands. the audio is really good. some of the great tunes...from their 88 album...and others. thanks for posting this .
Sacramento had something of a Christian Rock scene at this time. A couple of years ago an assistant pastor at Roes old church dug up a bunch of sealed vinyls literally from the church basement, and gave them to me. They were all local Sac bands that played on one anothers albums.
Aaron wasn't just a session drummer for Void. He was Iyall's bandmate. Imagine grooving on BOTH Romeo Void AND the Sevens and THEN discovering this tidbit. Lordy! Kinda like Burleigh Drummond being the skinmeister behind Lost Dogs AND Ambrosia!
@briand61 [ How about Romeo Void and Ray Charles...he is one of the best session drummers in the business, joining a myriad of other artists on their recordings!
I was busy playing...I wish that I would have followed these guys live back in the day. Super great band. So very musical.Thankful for these videos.
A-Train behind a massive double kick Sonor kit, and one of the 77's best songs? Yeah, I guess I'll watch it. LOL. Favorite band ever.......

What finesse, too! His sense of rhythm, his technique...impeccable.

Still count them among the best live shows I've ever had the privilege of experiencing. Didn't remember Mike's Page Boy haircut, hah!
