Hey ace I noticed if you aim between head and neck at 30+ meters it still counts as a head shot in some rare instances Damages and health values in mw2 are worse then cold war vanguard and mw2019
@@jenkinsuu doubt it. That felt intentional, if incredibly stupid. Though now after playing more I'm not entirely convinced the tracers are actually disabled. Maybe they're just that way for enemies but you can see them to adjust your aim. Sounds like something that needs testing.
The things I was doing to people off of headglitches with this gun shouldn't be even in the realm of possiblilities. I don't even care if it's overpowered, the Honey Badger from Ghosts is one of my favorite weapons in the series, and I'm so happy it's back!
Heck yeah honey badgers my shit! In Division2 also 👏😃 Now what does head glitches mean? I was using tac recon & the recoil kicks up perf 4 a headshot. Dude was yelling at my that I was head glitching. I said iduno wtf that means. I was mounted 1/2 the time anyway lol
@@lgzz4885 "Head Glitch" is when from your perspective you can see an enemy, wile mounted or closer to a cover that it sems larger than someone from the other side of perspective. From your side you can see all in front of you, but from the other side (the enemy) he can't basicaly see shit. Your "head" is "glitched" in the cover so it apears much smol from their side than yours. Hope i can help, and sorry if you don't understand right. My english isn't that great

I was part of the 0.1% of people who actually liked Ghost 😅. The Honey badger was my favorite gun, Ive maxed it and picked up all the cammos pretty quickly, enjoyed every second.
I've been using the chimera for dmz a lot. I use the Simi auto mode for the bots because the extra dmg helps save ammo. I use one mag to kill many bots. and using it on auto when I'm up close to the 3 armor bots. When I run into players I fry them in full auto. It works well
I ran several matches with this gun last night. It was crazy how easy it shreds lobbys. There were times I thought I'd lose a gunfight, but this gun would keep me alive every time.
Im usually aiming center mass when running around and in my play through, it seems like the upward recoil tends to have the last bullet hit the head. I get a loooooot of headshots with this gun.
Use decoys, the thing that gives you an extra tactical and ddos field upgrade. I got mine maxed in 3 and a half games. Everytime you spawn throw 3 decoys. Use the ddos whenever you get it aswell
There's already a precedent for it with the ak47 being in literally every game, and usually either the m4 or the m16. Those specifically are locks to be in every year. I wish my fav gun the An-94 would make more appearances tho

Interesting that it's a 4HK to the body, it really felt like I was getting fairly consistent 3 hit kills on F/A in MP. Even so, while it's got a bit more recoil than the M4, it definitely feels good on smaller maps.
As a fan of CoD Ghosts, I'm happy to see this gun return. I've been looking forward to this video since the + and - signs in the gunsmith make it so confusing to build a class.
The left leaning recoil actually makes me so much better as I naturally drag my mouse to the right while pulling down to compensate for vertical recoil. I like to run the 10" barrel, the titan suppressor you unlock from leveling the chimera, and the ADS buffing pistol grip and stock with a red dot to top it off, absolutely shreds for me.
Unlocked it last night and ran it playing shipment. I'm probably average on my skill level as a player and I was really doing good! Hadn't played the new shipment yet and still did good for not playing the old one in months! Great gun!
Tested it myself I'd call it a 'beefier, quieter, CQB focused M4' which isn't a negative! It's a great bit of kit, and certainly doesn't shy away from some fight at range. I'm not a fan of the irons, but they work well enough. Fast firerate means good consistent performance, even if harder hitting weapons can kill in less rounds, sometimes volume of fire is far more useful than not. It's not among my top favourites but is a viable choice!
If we ever get hardcore back, this gun can consistently one shot at most engagement ranges in the game at 30% health when on semi auto. Just something to look out for if that ever comes back
interesting because the 357 from MW19 which in MW2 is called “Basilisk” and basilisk is also a mythological creature that is a legendary reptile reputed to be a serpent king who causes death to those that look into its eyes.
As soon as i unlock this gun i will put a Merc foregrip to remember the Ghosts days, the Honey Badger was one of my favorite guns in that game (even though the game was kinda ass lol)
Lasers are not worth it IMO. I know everyone skips their killcams most of the time, but if you watch them you will be surprised how quickly you're identified and killed because your laser was shining in a corner, through a crevice, smoke, shadow. Get those stats through the stock or something else. If you're a longtime laser fan trust me your game will improve overall after removing it.
The best way to get around that laser thing is to just train yourself to not pre-aim all the time. I think Ace said this before during his laser testing video. Also red lasers are just the best since they’re the hardest to see in comparison to green or blue.
@@brawler5760 Yeah but in this game with its fast time to kill you need to be pre-aiming every corner and room to a degree. Even with fast ADS if someone else is pre-aiming you in most cases you die.
I really think IW should create a community test environment for the game. It seems like a lot of times they push something out without testing it enough where if they had a cte they could get some feedback on updates before it goes live
I just wish this gun has less obstructive visual recoil with such small iron sights. It almost makes me use a sight on all my chimera builds. But that’s just 1 minor inconvenience on an amazing gun
Do you not realize that MW 2019 also had mostly negative learning attachments? It's one of the issues on the laundry list that IW has created since 2019. It's one of the reasons Cold War was so much more fun than 2019 as well, because Skill was more of a factor than camping or only using pure bonus attachments, Cold War's Attachments were pretty balanced for the most part, though a few outliers of course and Vanguards Attachments felt like they were ONLY bonuses. I wish they'd just meet in the middle and do what Cold War did, SO much better than was IW has been doing.

@@fortunefiderikumo Get better... my guy, my K/D is 2.5, and if you watch people play the game live, like on Twitch, most campers are actually in higher skill lobbies, hence why Ace himself even, has mentioned that you can run around in lower skilled lobbies because they don't camp or listen for footsteps NEARLY as much because they don't understand the game as much. So... you kinda outing yourself here as being bad my man.

every gun that isn't semi by default has different damage in alt fire, though it doesn't affect ttk in sub-50m ranges (shipment and shoothouse for example) but are noticable for ttk in wz/dmz/ltms like invasion and ground war at 75m-100m+
This gun was awesome in Ghosts but it’s sad to see how they nerfed it in this game by making it take an extra shot at every range. At least the head multiplier is good. That’s how every AR should’ve been in this game, effective with headshots all around. The M4 and Lachmann 556 both need headshot buffs similar to this gun
How do you hand-test Bullet Velocity Ace? An explanation would greatly help me alot as I would like to compare barrel and muzzle attachment bullet velocity properties and compare everything. So far I've gotten to testing everything frame by frame in a video editor to measure ADS speeds and such but I can't figure out bullet velocity. Help would be much appreciated. Thanks
I am not sure if you’ll get a response, but your best bet is to find a known distance somewhere in the game, preferably pretty far, and measure the time in between firing and getting a hitmarker. If you know the time and the distance, you can figure out the velocity

I like it because it means Battle rifles can go full auto and still be balanced but the game absolutely should tell you

It’s hilarious to me how fast Shipment can get you a maximum weapon level, only took me 2 games with 60 kills each to get the Chimera to max level.

I like the Chimera. It feels like a good SMG more than an assault rifle, but for most of the maps that's actually a helpful aspect
I advise to use this only for close-medium range, if you do that you're practically untouchable with this gun

i like this gun has both the fire rate and the iron sights of the cw vargo and the "low recoil" makes it feel so familiar yet so unique i love it
I think the neck multiplier is broken in the shooting range it can 2 shot, might be a shooting range bug but it feels really good in game.
Shooting range can be very misleading sometimes, and on occasion your shots can even go straight through a dummy without a hitmarker

I dropped 3 100+ kill games in a row with this absolut Beast. It absolutly melts anyone you point it at as long as you're accurate enough
MW19 still has the best Gunsmith, I can't believe how negative leaning they made most of the attachments in this game, its so disheartening

every gun that isn't semi by default has different damage in alt fire, though it doesn't affect ttk in sub-50m ranges (shipment and shoothouse for example) but are noticable for ttk in wz/dmz/ltms like invasion and ground war at 75m-100m+
What about the barrel attachments and how or if they take that subsonic factor away? (From increased bullet velocity)

This gun was awesome in Ghosts but it’s sad to see how they nerfed it in this game by making it take an extra shot at every range. At least the head multiplier is good. That’s how every AR should’ve been in this game, effective with headshots all around. The M4 and Lachmann 556 both need headshot buffs similar to this gun

Did the OP-40 barrel ever get its range reduced? I notice it says 5.5" on it now instead of 6.5". That makes me worried that it's been fixed... 😂
How do you hand-test Bullet Velocity Ace? An explanation would greatly help me alot as I would like to compare barrel and muzzle attachment bullet velocity properties and compare everything. So far I've gotten to testing everything frame by frame in a video editor to measure ADS speeds and such but I can't figure out bullet velocity.
Help would be much appreciated. Thanks
I am not sure if you’ll get a response, but your best bet is to find a known distance somewhere in the game, preferably pretty far, and measure the time in between firing and getting a hitmarker. If you know the time and the distance, you can figure out the velocity
