How funny. I've been prioritizing other games, so I haven't played MW2 much lately. Played for the first time last weekend and unlocked this gun and it had me thinking it's the best gun in the game. I didn't even bother putting attachments on it because I was destroying with it as is.
At least the Lach Shroud ended up making a little sense as a gameplay option, since it's burst fire-only and all the barrels are integrally suppressed. I hated that the 3-round burst options for weapons in MW19 and Vanguard required you to burn an attachment slot. The M13B, however, is absolutely pointless and isn't competitive anywhere that it seems like it should be. At least it was a very quick unlock I guess 😂
This gun is one of the few that's kind of better bone stock then kitted out if you're not an expert at picking attachments/tuning. If you try to use red dots without the right recoil control its way worse than iron sights and even specing into the MOST recoil control you can get it can still feel sub par recoil on top of bad handling. It seems absolutely terrible on paper but it can be good if you use it right and really test out your builds in the range
The only reason I think this gun exists is for padding. It's not good or bad, it's just sorta there so the devs can say "LOOK! BRAND NEW CONTENT! GO BUY IT'S BUNDLE!"
This is a good thing about fast TTK games, even if the weapons suck 100%, if you use it smartly you will get kills without much difference to other weapons since a little mistake of the enemy can get you a free kill even if they have the most busted weapon. The M13C being the worst AR, really will get punished in the next game with the 2-3 shoots extra to kill
That's the thing about hardcore that a lot of people that play hardcore a lot like. Basically every gun is usable if you're smart about it. Having that super short time to kill turn some guns to normally would suck into God here or at least recently playable guns. Like some of the slow TTK battle rifles markson now one hit at any rain range. But if the other person gets up close and they have some trash can SMG or Boeing down before you have time to quickly scope them. Basically guns that no one would use get used because now they can kill in similar times that every other gun can
In turns of regular multiplayer, the m13c is already obsolete, we already have the Chimera to fill it’s SMG/AR hybrid niche. Not to mention the Chimera fills this role very good. The chimera is better than the m13c on every single level
@@sabresandiego It may have the range, but that doesn’t mean jack, the bullet velocity is ass so long range doesn’t even matter. The chimera has better overall damage, but the m13c has the fire rate, but it’s a pea shooter. The gun has no place in MW22, for long range, we already have the Lachlan 556 and the M13B
The only reason would be more camos I'd say, I was excited for some reason to get this gun and from the first moment I picked it up I kept asking myself what abomination is this. Then I thought to myself, maybe it can be saved by some attachments..... It could not🤣 Such a shame too, I really love the default sights on the gun.
It's weird, this gun is pretty unremarkable on paper yet I started levelling all the newer guns yesterday as I haven't played cod for a few months. I did the lachman shroud, iso 9mm & 45 then finished with this gun. 2nd game into this gun, I went 31-0 on FFA with an MGB finish. Something I haven't done since I was sweating hard with the vaznev in the early weeks of this game
I really wished this gun had high velocity rounds. I mainly play ground war and there have been times i've outgunned a sniper rifle stareing me down from 40-56+ meters with my lachmann 556 that has an underbarrel drill charge for vechiles! If this thing didnt have such god awful bullet velocity i wouldn't mind using it as 240 ms to kill over a 40+ range is not bad when your consistent. but on top of that is has more recoil then my 556. Really makes me wonder why add this gun to the game when the only exciting thing about it is the no stock option that only really feels good on the M13B.
In all seriousness, the velocity is the least of my concerns. This thing should be a mid-long range monster, but the horrible recoil and reticle movement means it's nearly impossible to keep track of your target. The Chimera feels far better to use for me, even with the worse range and damage, purely because I can actually keep a half-decent sight picture and properly lead my shots at range.
Unless I missed something, they're actually pretty close to each other. The Chimera has more range easily. The M13c is faster and has more damage per mag if I'm not mistaken. It's almost as if it's in between the other two .300 BLk weapons, and doesn't excel as a top contender, but feels like a decent sniper support.
i love this gun to be honest i’ve rocking it for the past couple of days. btw i didn’t get it through the event and neither via the store, wanna know how? was using the m13b for a while the i must have completed a challenge that i just saw a message in my screen that i’be unlocked it
The unlock tree for this gun makes zero sense. Given the rifle takes 300 blackout, anyone decently into guns would assume it's good suppressed. Ironically the muzzle slot unlocks super late and the Chimera is still the better option.
Or at least give it more muzzle velocity if it's supposed to be supersonic rounds by default. I've been saying though that it shouldn't exist and just be kept as a "CQB barrel setup" for the M13B.
I had a better performance with this weapon than with the chimera. I always tune my weapons for recoil control and range anyways so that gun gives me a better result. I recommend people to max out the other weapons to unlock better attachments
You all remember when Luke was added to Street Fighter 5 and they said his machanics and principles were in line with Street Fighter 6? The M13C is probably along that line. either way all of the speed stock mods for the Chimera, Bas-P and M13B are just so good that I'm fine with a chalange gun in the game.
4-shot kill potential out to infinity you'd think it's a long-range beast but in return it has an awful subsonic projectile velocity so they basically cancel each other out and be mid af either way
It’s just the ultimate sniper support strictly for the mid range start shooting as soon as you get in mid range distance otherwise you will die don’t ever push up close with this gun just catch people in the mid range if they push you just fall back 😂😂😂
With the M13C and Shroud MP5, it honestly looks like they are just giving the illusion of new guns when in reality these are legit reskins with different stats.
The gunsmith philosophy for attachments still seems to heavily limit what you can use with how bad the downsides to attachments can be. Why even use the long range barrel when you can find another gun that has just as good of a range but with better ADS? Also why use a gun that needs a lot if help from attachments (that will end up stacking downsides) when you can use a gun thats great even with no attachments which then means you can pick attachments with little to no downsides to make it even better. I really hope Sledgehammer makes the gunsmith better in mw3, i liked a lot of the vanguard unique attachments (the damage and fire rate changing ammo was a bad decision though). One year they should try balancing attachments by giving them costs like pick 10 but more than 10, kind of like the ghosts perk system but applied to everything in a class. They could still limit how many perks from each category you could use to keep the balancing simple. I just strongly believe that points would be way more fun and way more free than the current gunsmith, while also using elements from pick 10 which is so far easily the best system we've had. They could even balance guns based on cost to avoid nerfing a gun too hard or to give people a reason to use a slightly lower tier gun, for example maybe they could make a gun like the m13c cost one less point in the create a class to give it a reason to be used. Or make guns like the scar-L cost one extra point for how easy it is to use because of how it doesn't really need attachments to be good. The best part of this system is that they could just make all of the weapons cost the same if they needed to, like if the data showed it didn't significantly impact what people chose. Basically im saying they could easily backtrack if this system didn't work out. They could just turn it into a pick 10 with an update so no harm in trying
This gun exists, along with all the other duplicate guns like the auto deagle, is because they took guns that were planned for this game and are going to use them for MWIII instead. They then quickly needed content for this game. That is my theory
It's a shame they did the MCX platform no justice here by not giving the option of using "supersonic" 300blk ammo which would give it similar performance to 7.62x39, the point of using "subsonic" 300blk ammo is for low noise with a suppressor while having very low recoil since "subsonics" are about 4 times less powerful than "supersonics" with much less energy and velocity, and they failed to replicate that here in MW2, it should have way less recoil like in real life. What a waste...
Anything that's listed as having subsonic ammo has this feature. For ARs, that's this, the Chimera, and the Hemlock with .300blk ammo. For SMGs, it's the Fennec, Lachmann Shroud, MX9, and Minibak. Of the pistols, only the P890 has subsonic rounds.
“Not a solid choice for anything beyond mid range.” Pretty much defines .300 blk irl. Up close it’s like throwing kitchen sinks at people, but past 100-150 yards starts to be like not so good. Anyway, fun gun and I’ve had some really good games on shipment and the mid-small maps. I see chimeras now an I’m like that’s broke boi look. Miss me with your uggos.
Well, at least you can put a noobtoob on the M13C, unlike the Chimera... ...Oh hell, who are we kidding, you're better off just using the Chimera anyways.
So you only have a good time to kill at long range, but you also have the slow bullet velocity and the high recoil to hinder you? For a franchise that's been going on for as long as it has, you'd think these devs would know how to balance their weapons properly.
It exists because of the platform system exists. That’s why we have 5 lachman 5 kastovs 5 taqs and now 2 M13s. Idea is good but they could have done perfectly one platform with ram/amax/scar/oden another one with m4/13/16 etc etc this game is ridiculous.
You can ask that about the Lachmann Shroud they could’ve given us an integrated suppressor attachment for the sub but how are they supposed to sell us overpriced bundles
While certainly not having good recoil (Or aim steadiness for that matter.) I find that your sight can be an... X factor, so to speak in how well you can control it manually. I tend to go for the... I can't remember the name of them at the moment, but the two large window holo sighs. Red and green reticles respectively. But on this gun it's very hard to control. But I just dropped the smaller tube shaped holo (green circle and center dot reticle. Sorry, I'm terrible with remembering the attachment names with the scheme they did in MW2 with nothing everything being fictional this time around.) and the visual recoil was cut down massively which has helped me stay on target. That said I do think it's a very Meh rifle when you have the Honey Badger and the .300 BLK rounds for the Hemlock. I least I think it was the hemlock. I really don't know what I can't remember any of this today...
Why does it exist? The answer is padding and microtransactions. It’s there just to increase the total amount of “content” so people can praise the game for having a lot of weapons and it’s another gun they can sell skins for in the shop
So you need to hit 4 upper torso shots just to STILL have the 2nd slowest ttk. With bad recoil and velocity and the tied WORST hipfire in class to boot..

I didn't know if it was a bug or just this gun but when I was leveling the Famas I maxed it out and swapped over to the m13c and got about another 20 or so kills and some obj points since it was shipment. After the match I was expecting to pretty much have this thing maxed out given how few levels it has but to my surprise it only level twice, that was when I knew this gun was gonna be cursed.
Also feels like a: we can't add any iconic guns because MW3 is coming, so we're releasing guns that should just be a mod to an existing gun but we're releasing it as a standalone gun
The leveling on it is probably slowed down, due to the low amount of levels it already has.
Yep. Lazy development.
I can guarantee you I’ve never maxed any gun in this game with only 20 kills. I don’t know what you’re smoking.
@@ryanbolson23 I'm not saying I maxed it, I'm saying I was expecting a big chunk and didn't get hardly anything. Plus it was an objective mode during double XP so yeah I was thinking I'd get a good amount but got basically a level and a half
@@lllXanderlll yeah no I don’t know where you get that expectation from but I’ve played basically every gun in this game to max level and never did I think 6 flag caps and 20 kills would get me anywhere near 11 levels. That’s completely absurd. Hundreds of kills, or just playing grind and grabbing tags. You need thousands of xp to get a gun a decent level. Grind you can get like 20,000 in a game compared to the like 3000-6000 in a normal game. That’ll probably be your best bet. But even then it won’t be like 1 game to max.
Honestly the worst gun in the game, I’m so glad you put that as the title. It’s a way worse SMG than the BAS-P and a way worse AR than the M13B. Pointless weapon.
How funny. I've been prioritizing other games, so I haven't played MW2 much lately. Played for the first time last weekend and unlocked this gun and it had me thinking it's the best gun in the game. I didn't even bother putting attachments on it because I was destroying with it as is.
“Every DLC weapon is OP to sell bundles”
At least the Lach Shroud ended up making a little sense as a gameplay option, since it's burst fire-only and all the barrels are integrally suppressed. I hated that the 3-round burst options for weapons in MW19 and Vanguard required you to burn an attachment slot.
The M13B, however, is absolutely pointless and isn't competitive anywhere that it seems like it should be. At least it was a very quick unlock I guess 😂
i like the gun it just feels like you have to aim for upper body and be accurate if not its over.
This might be the only gun in the game worth using the bullet velocity up and range down ammunition
Good luck 🤣 they don't exist
yes they do...@@ryankelly1846
High Velocity definitely is worth using on guns you fight at mid-long range. Even more so if the gun has a fast fire rate.
I have a 1.4 KD with this gun, my highest of any Assault Rifle. Those upper torso shots are insane at long rangess
the biggest pro about this gun is that it indirectly buffs the chimera (and m13b) speed builds
how? attachments?
@@Aegis4521 yes, just the collapsed stock alone buffs the ads speed and overall movement the most
@@GuntRedLikeAnAppleand the m13 still has no recoil with no stock😂
Can we talk about how we never got a DLC LMG? We’ve gotten every other weapon type as dlc besides LMGs
I noticed that too
Supposedly, we’re getting an LMG for S6
It’s wild to think this is in the same family as the M13B and Chimera, which are so much better than this variant.
I've seen it here and there as a pocket SMG in WZ Resurgence. Maybe not as effective as the Chimera but still usable
Actually has smg like ttk's last time I checked
The only reason I think this gun exists is for padding.
It's not good or bad, it's just sorta there so the devs can say
"LOOK!
Basically guns that no one would use get used because now they can kill in similar times that every other gun can
problem is that the ads penalties don’t fit the fast ttk balance
IW: "we ran out of new weapons for the seasons, let's just take existing guns, add an attachment and call it a new gun"
Fire rate should be around 200 rpm faster
4:15
Huh, doesn't the 14" say in the description/bars that it harms recoil?
In turns of regular multiplayer, the m13c is already obsolete, we already have the Chimera to fill it’s SMG/AR hybrid niche. Not to mention the Chimera fills this role very good. The chimera is better than the m13c on every single level
No it isn’t. M13c has way better speeds and kills per mag and is better at longer ranges
@@amei_G80_BmwM3 My kd with this weapon is one of the best of all ARs. This gun is very good with the right build
@@sabresandiego try using the chimera you’ll have a better with it
The only reason would be more camos I'd say, I was excited for some reason to get this gun and from the first moment I picked it up I kept asking myself what abomination is this.
Then I thought to myself, maybe it can be saved by some attachments..... It could not🤣 Such a shame too, I really love the default sights on the gun.
To react to the title, my exact thoughts when I saw it
It's weird, this gun is pretty unremarkable on paper yet I started levelling all the newer guns yesterday as I haven't played cod for a few months.
This is a Warzone gun for "sniper support", it has better TTK than the Chimera at the first damagerange.
Unless I missed something, they're actually pretty close to each other. The Chimera has more range easily. The M13c is faster and has more damage per mag if I'm not mistaken.
It's almost as if it's in between the other two .300 BLk weapons, and doesn't excel as a top contender, but feels like a decent sniper support.
i love this gun to be honest
i’ve rocking it for the past couple of days.
btw i didn’t get it through the event and neither via the store, wanna know how?
was using the m13b for a while the i must have completed a
challenge that i just saw a message in my screen that i’be unlocked it
I think the devs added this in because they saw an ad/ video about it on RUclips and didn't think too hard about what its stats would be.
It used to have near 0 hipfire spread. Ace: Stop trying to put lasers on everything lol
Makes sense, I have had great success with this gun on small (tiny) maps. I like the handling and the fire rate but geez that velocity as bad.
4-shot kill potential out to infinity you'd think it's a long-range beast but in return it has an awful subsonic projectile velocity so they basically cancel each other out and be mid af either way
This gun is a beast in Hardcore.
It’s just the ultimate sniper support strictly for the mid range start shooting as soon as you get in mid range distance otherwise you will die don’t ever push up close with this gun just catch people in the mid range if they push you just fall back 😂😂😂
Ace you never talked about the separate damage profile in semi-auto mode ?
The title is the question I asked when I unlocked this thing.
As a camo grinder who only plays hardcore, i really feel sorry for people grinding these guns in core.
I have liked this one and have done well with it
Why is the iso hemlock 1 gun with 2 ammo type options? (5.56 & .300 BLK)
And still useless gun
Should've been an M13 setup with .300BO ammo and shorty barrel.
Oh wow I used it for a day and immediately forgot about it when the shroud came out
And just like using 300 blackout rounds not working in DMZ, if you use any stock attachments for this rifle in DMZ, it wont load in.
They really need to get rid of the whole “first shot jump” in recoil. Any gun that has it doesn’t get used, literally kills any gun
Are you going to make video about top 10 loadouts season 5 reloaded ?
What's funny is I like it better than the M13B even if it's not better.
Can you make a video ranking all the best guns in each class?
This gun exists, along with all the other duplicate guns like the auto deagle, is because they took guns that were planned for this game and are going to use them for MWIII instead. They then quickly needed content for this game. That is my theory
Ehhh. These guns will be in MWIII as well
The left-right bounce on this gun drives me nuts. Can’t really use it. I was hoping it would be a little harder hitting version of the 13B but nope
They need to add the Cyclone barrel from MW2019
How do they put a different stock and handguard on a gun and sell it as new
Ok Ace what do you prefer this or the M16....😂😂😂😂
This weapon is easily the best AR for mouse players without aimbot assist like controllers have due to the good limb damage and speed
Hey ace could you do an updated best hardcore weapons video
The pros out weigh the cons wait a minute
Stealth, lol, that Lazer looks like a lightsaber from starwars.
My resume of the M13C is that tittle.
This gun is good on vondel in the trenches just hit one head shot and upper torso with cantered laser your going to win the gunfight
What other guns hide the death skull? Is it anything that uses .300 black out?
Anything that's listed as having subsonic ammo has this feature. For ARs, that's this, the Chimera, and the Hemlock with .300blk ammo. For SMGs, it's the Fennec, Lachmann Shroud, MX9, and Minibak. Of the pistols, only the P890 has subsonic rounds.
I thought all .300 black out anything had no skulls. So when I saw the m13c was .300 black out I just assumed. Never noticed it wasn’t explained. 😂
They really just wanted to sell the MWIII Soap bundle with a “new” weapon, that’s why it exists
i consider this gun as the new peacemaker
even the shots sound similar with the black ops
Peacemaker is a comic book character. Peacekeeper is smg/ar hybrid
It only exists to drive you crazy. I am only going to upgrade this weapon and never touch it again.
I missed Ace!!
Why does it exist? The answer is padding and microtransactions. It’s there just to increase the total amount of “content” so people can praise the game for having a lot of weapons and it’s another gun they can sell skins for in the shop
This title can be said to like 90% of the guns
It exists because Infinity ward wants to save all contents for MW3
So you need to hit 4 upper torso shots just to STILL have the 2nd slowest ttk. With bad recoil and velocity and the tied WORST hipfire in class to boot..
savage title 💀
I was pretty sure that this gun had a different damage profile in semi auto...
The M13 exists for the same reason MW3 does. It shouldn’t because already something nearly identical that one fix could do but money talks
