Infinity Ward nerfed tighter hip spread attachments and tuning into the ground at the beginning of season 2. You used to be able to get it super tight. I don't know why. It's not like shotguns are meta/OP or overused in this game.
Because people complain if they function even remotely close snipers. When snipers always function as snipers except up to far more range and require less skill then even a basic automatic weapon which kills in 3+ headshots. After all 1 bullet is easier to land then 3 especially when 2 of those have recoil and require staying on target for an extended time.
@@Dragoonsoul7878 that's the thing though. I haven't seen anyone complaining about the shotguns in this game (apart from the new one) on any social media platform.

Slugs in general are underrated on every shotgun, the idea of a shotgun is to get the tightest pellet spread and max out the range as much as possible. And that’s exactly what Slugs are like
They're OK at best on the Expedite, especially when compared to the Broadside. But the Broadside just outclasses the Expedite in every meaningful way anyway.

The problem is that higher zoom optics don't provide any benefit whatsoever and it's all downsides, so you're just better off setting FOV to Affected and using a lower zoom optic.
The thing about shotguns is, I feel like using a signal.50 with red dot sight is just always a better version of a slug shotgun. Or if you want a high mobility hip fire, the akimbo pistols are also just better than shotguns. So they're just a weak middle ground.
Would've been cool if the 2 shell reload was actually faster than the 1 shell reload so you could be rewarded for taking risks with your accuracy. Last time we had this unique quirk was with the M1 Garand.

Holy shit I KNEW IT, I KNEW that adsing made my spread shrink. I’ve always aimed down before I shot with a shotgun and it ALWAYS felt like I hit more consistently but I finally have proof of it. 🎉
I find it ridiculous that pellet spread is affected by ADS or Hip-Fire. That’s not how shotguns work, if you shoot a shotgun from the hip or ads the spread is gonna be a similar pattern regardless. A barrel choke is really the only way to reduce pellet spread, and it seems like a gameplay mechanic for the sake of balancing the shotguns, even though their are many other ways to balance them without the ads spread
Great work as always, Ace. I’ve really enjoyed this shotgun, it’s pretty much the only one I enjoy using. Though the Expedite was also kind of fun, but I love using this bad boy for the extra range and the quickish follow up shot. Most fun I’ve had using a shotgun since the M30 Drilling triple barrel in COD WW2 (I loved being able to switch to that rifle bullet and one shot people from insane distances). I like to run it with a fast draw X13 as a backup weapon, in case I need to quickly swap and finish people off.
Hey Ace, you can tune the chokes for bonus range and for tighter pellet spread. It’s like a 0,4 meter increase but it's better than nothing as the stats you loose are like aim walking steadiness. At least you could do that in season 1, I haven't played for a while.

Hey Ace, can you include the slugs velocity as well. I’ve been pretty curious about that. Don’t remember if you’ve mentioned it in a past video but I think it would be pretty nice to know
The reload speed without Fast Hands is a bit slow, but otherwise this shotgun is very satisfying and rewarding to use. I agree that it seems really well balanced, especially compared to some other guns in this game.
That’s mainly because their 725 has infinite ammo and doesn’t need to reload between shots… I think otherwise all AI guns have the same damage values as their player counterparts (but not fire rate!) which is why a bot with a RAAL will also shred due to having player damage but a faster fire rate…
What are your thoughts on using one of the suppressors that extend range vs choke? That’s what i typically run to get the spread to reach farther, cant think of exact one i use.
Why nerf shotguns ? There the only force equalizers for casual players and non snipers. In DMZ I was always able to defend myself from those PvP only teams, bcuz I had reliable defensive option.
The operator foregrip is actually way better than the cronen. It has only a 3.6% movement and strafe penalty compared with 11% of the cronen with the same pros. The bruen tilt does 7.3% so the operator is by far the best
Yo Ace, do you know why it feels like it takes over a second to shoot after swapping weapons after your weapon is already out? It's so annoying having that delay when it makes no sense. It also sucks that you can't shoot both pistols indepentently when using akimbo. Makes the attachment almost pointless.
Could someone explain to me if that percentages on attachments stack (I.e the part where hes talking about how tight he can get the pellet spread) but just in general do they stack together so it would be a -80% reduction? Or is it like 45% reduction then a 35% reduction of whatever is left?
