Having options is the nice part of being in the Philippines or Thailand. In the U.S. finding a slim nice lady is getting harder. I don't want a land whale who's hobby is shopping.
It didn't used to be that way. It really is a new phenomenon, maybe 2 decades old. I have been watching Priscilla Barnes in Three's Company and she is fine.

Since she serves food R grocery bill is about 1/2 of what mine would be. I personally don't want anyone else; we have been together since I got off the plane 4 yrs. ago. Her parents have more $ s than we do. I wouldn't live with a girl I didn't love & trust.
In Sydney, I fully own my house. I also have an investment's & a retirement funds, that give me passive income. For the last 6 years, I've had a girlfriend in Sydney. She has a mortgaged 3 bedroom appartment & not much else. She is 17 years younger than me & my income is triple her income. So I've told her, because we have commonlaw in Australia & prenuptial agreement are as good as toilet paper, it's not in my interest to get married, or live with her. I've told her the statistics. 50% divorce rate & 80% of divorces are instigated by woman. I've still been on holidays all over Australia, the USA & China with her, but no way would I ever move in with her. I'm not a fool.
As a woman, born and raised in one of the islands, (i live in California for 30 years)i find this conversation quite offensive. What do you guys all think of women in the Philippines a commodity? Shame on all of you!
Better practice Samadhi and do rhe ritual meditation to make it work to control desires and suppress compulsiveness on sexual desires, it would save you all the expenses for renting or owning.
I lived on a small boat in a marina. When things start getting weird u can just leave. This life style takes more creativity, and not everyone can do it. But it works for me. Some people need a mother or something.. thats what a wife is. Laundry, dinner, and all that. I think it all boils down to i.q,
I hope the economy of Philippines will get better so they won’t go out with foreigner that talks mean in social media. or no respect for women in the Philippines .
Lol 😂, great and fun video too watch. Your the only foreigner that picks a subject like rent or own Filipina girl and explain the topic so well. Personally, I prefer to be mobile and flexible in where I go so I choose renting. However, just like a house or car, if you find girlfriend that is worth keeping and you can picture yourself with her for the rest of your life, she’s a keeper. Unfortunately, remember all good things eventually have an ending. Keep the videos coming. Thank you 🙏⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
the most important thing Paul said is "frame". It makes all the difference. whether rent or own. Even in marriage setting the frame from the beginning is crucial. That includes having no assets that are openly available. Woman got no business in my business. It does not mean you cant be kind and generous.
Rent a woman I understand, owning a woman on the other hand could get you in serious trouble no matter where you look. I know what Paul had meant to say, and I’m sure he didn’t mean to offend anyone, it’s just not the right way to bring his point across. Regarding the subject in itself: I shared my last 30 years with a woman. in short: never again would I commit myself fully. I guess renting it is for me from now on. I’m certain the end result will be a much happier outcome. And best of all, variety is the spice of life. Speaking from experience.

I'd stay in a room with a balcony and just sit by my chair with my red wine and enjoy the lush scenery unfolding before me. This is my preferred living arrangement when I retire.
you make it sound Like rent its cheaper. the starting rate in usd for an escort (renting) is like 100$. if i wanted to rent for a year that be 36k!!! on top of my Bills. But if you Own (marry/wife) for one year, and your just a normal Guy renting a home an not owning what is she going to take 50% of if it didn't work out? so if she wanted a divorce i saved 36k cause all the bills i normally pay for she would just be under that umbrella for one year. *this whole comment is based on a normal guy, not a rich guy where he can lose sooo much.

I dated a south Korean, she lied to me about being previously married. Then called me one day and said "if we don't get married I'm going back to my ex husband." I told her no way in hell and she got married a week later...Crazy girls out there
ive lived in korea 13 years and japan 4 previous to that .. k and j girls can be super super 'sneaky' that way.. hide all kinds of things .. for example married women who have slept with me here and told me the fact AFTER.. you gotta be careful with them ..
Can you get an agreement that protects your possessions and income (pension) with a common law agreement? I heard prenuptial agreements done right can be air tight in The Philippines. If that’s the case it sounds safer to be married versus common law.
No Marriage is the least safe, if anything goes wrong and you want out its not going to be easy and marriage laws can change. The common law sound bad but I have not heard of one case for expat and filipina. Just make sure you dont invest here so that you can protect your investments
What you brought up as advantages of a live in partner are not at all exclusive to live in partners. You can travel with someone you don't regularly live with. You can pursue interests and commonalities with someone you don't live with.
Ok I already made this mistake. So there is no reason why your any less free with a live in partner. If I want to go on a trip with the guys, I will. Same if I wanted to go for a drink I will, if I drank. She will go do things on her own too. If she has a problem with that, she always knows where the door is, she can leave. But yes of course, if she is sick I'll take care of her. I would help her family in case of special emergency, but I'm not a loan company. It won't be a regular thing. I already know I'll be feeding them sometimes when they visit her. But she needs to make us the priority first. She always has the choice not to move in if she doesn't agree. I'll move on.
I would not spoil her with gifts, instead just act like you have been married to her for 10 years. You will find out quickly if you could really last that long with her.
One of the best video to explain what exactly an Alpha male should handle his relationship status. I think your ideas are not applicable in Philippines but also in many countries. But when I talk about Philippines , if I go for casual dating approach stay 3 to 4 days, travel girlfriend then it's possible to encounter with many scammers and prostitute I might encounter. How to separate these girls from genuine girls.

In addition, this conversation is enforcing an image to disrespect Filipina women, especially when foreigners are at a great advantage over them, in terms of having more money than their counterpart(s).
Everything you said about renting vs owning is very true as being single vs in a relationship. It's either an open door having multiple woman or closed when owned by only one. What's that old saying...you can't have your cake and eat it too Paul😂😂
I understand the Pros and Cons. And "yes", maybe at the beginning of a "relationship" the renting thing is the better option. But, we also have to think on the long run. What after some years of living/being together? How can I make sure, that she will be safe and secured, when I'll check out and leave this planet? Do I care, or do I give a f*ck? I think one very important thing is to think about the "last will".
There's no sense in marriage for a man. I'm happy single. A girlfriend is fine. Providing she has her own home. Marriage is just a piece of paper which in most cases benefits a woman. Not a man. If something happens to me I look at it this way. I came into this world without anyone or anything and I will leave the same way. You will too. Always look before you leap.
I think some inaccuracies here. You say a live in is more expensive. It should be cheaper if she is working then you split the rent. You need someone who can earn money. The second point about traveling makes no sense since you can travel with a girlfriend that does not live with you.
Live in partner is renting too its just she has freebies.wife is a different story.,the typical pinay bf and gf relationship they dont live together they are not called rentals here..the live in partner is called her your rental because anytime you can get rid of her.
@@mayofw3163 unfortunately few of these men think our women here is just a commodity of their needs, the reason they always get a bad reputations here, when you meet a filipino decent family first they will asked you if you were married if not they will think these men are here for sex and exploting some of our girls but you cant blame it to these men, they both has their benefits, girls got their share too.i think its fair enougg.
Not a bad video and some good advice for foreigner men. I do think it was odd you didn't mention anything about feelings toward girlfriends. So many men fall into lust thinking its love.
I think the audience here are either with someone or had moved past it. But for those 60+ and still finding their true love, nothing wrong with that also.
it is much better financially to rent. why you ask? main reason is because there is no better scent in this world when you enter a car with a new car scent, zero miles on the engine, no leaks or smoke blowing out of the muff ler, all tires have the same air compression and are not going flat, gasket to the engine is new, you dont hear all kinds of rattles on the body when going over a bump, the paint job on the new car looks very shinny instead of the old grey car you will own if you buy it, and a million of other reasons not to own. yet the number one reason why you should never own is because if you did the lawyers and judges and ex wives will be the happiest people on earth that you did own. rent rent rent rent rent rent rent!
How? The short-time rentals, such as at Mango Square, Burgos St, and Fields Ave, have more miles than a space shuttle. I believe that's why some expats talk a lot of marriage and family and flash their wealth but have a stealth vasectomy. Right now it's possible to find a live-in easy with Covid travel lock downs. But, that will change really fast. Peace.
very interesting topic Paul I'm still single here in the Philippines and I'm staying that way for a very long time that's the best way to go at least for me the more freedom I have the better off I am
Nice Short Video Paul . Oh Yes , Warning -- If a Girl Gives an " Ultimatum " or Demands Something or Else ? I Agree - She is History , No Ans , ifs , or buts ! Never accept an Ultimatum That would Go Against Your Beliefs and Values in a Relationship . Take Care Paul .
I agree Paul if western guys came here they would not believe how different dating is in Philippines. It is a real candy shop. I have been in the multi girlfriend and because you have such a big choice, it has been hard choosing which one to keep and which one to let go. So easy here to have 3 or 4 really good girls and wanting to keep them all. Only time and money finalize the choice. I have always told my 4 boys never get married. Every honest guy get sick of eating Eye Fillet Steak, some times you just need to add a Lobster.
Great video about they the women being more expensive when you buy them and they live with you. Most of them expect you to pay for everything and they usually aren't worth giving that to. I did have a girlfriend in the Dominican Republic for 3 years and even though we never lived together that woman always took money out of her pocket any activities we shared together.
