All your moves and hit add up to the revenge bar . The time it takes to get to know what you are doing and what you are fighting againist takes a fucking hell of a time . Not only that of course you have to practice it . I wish Kingdom Hearts 3 had something similar to that (not hating on it I love it's gameplay) but it seems way too easy for me and many veterans players. Despite all that both games are fun.

Bro I did that once to Marluxia while on a lvl 50 crit play through and it was after he got me down to one counter left... I used wisdom form and glided around the dm each time using reflect to counter the final hit then using 2 firaga combos. I'd dodge his slash and use an ether before he did the dm again and repeated until after 2 dms when I finally beat him with a last firaga combo while still in wisdom form... I've got to say that was one of the most tense but badass moments I've had playing Kingdom Hearts and any game in general. This game is truly special. I also wish I had this recorded lol.
I really do appreciate the improvements and changes to KH3 to make the game better with the snappier combos and data fights. But man to me KH2 sora still feels like a completely different beast

Actually it’s a mixed bag. Jesse’s portrayal of Ventus was re-purposed but deepened, while they used his battle grunts from 358/2 Days. Otherwise he has new battle clips exclusively for Final Mix

The most mind blowing is the fight with Marluxia. You literally cannot take a single hit or you’re done. I would never play the game on this mode just for this reason alone.

Yes. Having to pick form changes via using keyblades is annoying. They should have kept drive forms, and gave keyblades new and unique attacks per form.

Actually, there´s a reaction command sometimes in the fight that allows you to steal his Keyblades, making all of your moves more powerful, especially while using Limit Form.
Is this really what people thought Kingdom Hearts 3 was "missing"? The opportunity to suffer through intense pain only to suffer through that exact same pain only worse later?

Watching this after watching the KH3 data battles really solidified that KH3's animations are much flashier, but KH2's feels like they have more impact in their finishers. Does that make sense to anyone else but me?
It's all about the sound and visuals. KHII's sound design has much more punch and the visual effects like keyblade combos are more prominent. KHIII's sound design is mediocre and very lightweight, and most keyblade moves look and sound lighter. Sora's doing mostly the same moves but III's design holds the impact back.

I think the data fights have multipliers to vastly increase the likelihood of going anti form, so to any young kh2 players out there with similar issues, you might have to go final form a few times next to the heartless right outside the cavern of remembrance to lower your anti points
I recently beat all of the daya fights in critical mode, not level 1 btw and I grinded like 10 defense ups before hand and these fights were hard, this guy makes it look so easy.

It's about time she graduated from damsel While Riku searches for Sora, Yen Sid instructs Kairi to visit different worlds and identify the new 7 hearts after Maleficent and Pete steal a Gummiphone and gives it to Pete's old friend Emil Eagle to see if the data inside will be any good to them. At the same time they also try to find info on the masked people (the lost Masters of course) they saw Xigbar with before they take the Black Box from him. In case Mleficent decides to go after the other princesses, Yen Sid orders Terra, Ventus, Aqua, Roxas, Xion, and Axel to guard Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Alice, Belle, and Jasmine respectively. Jiminy procures the aid of Bernard and Miss Bianca from "The Rescuers" to join Roxas and Xion to watch their backs and chronicle their journey on his behalf using the Gummi Phones. The gameplay for this game will be similar to Birth By Sleep only you don't have to create 3 games for 3 separate characters. Instead the player will be able to switch between Roxas and Xion during the journey and battles. Plus if one gets knocked out, the player will automatically be able to switch to the other and heal them when they can. Although both characters can be used, some abilities and techniques will be exclusive to each of them as they level up. However, if KH4 is going to once again have Sora as the playing character. These sound great, was thinking along the same lines as I finished KH2 for my first time. I'd definitely add Star Wars and Avengers (and a Goofy movie) to that roster, considering that Disney owns these franchises now. I think a series of Clone Wars episodes, one where you meet Ahsoka as a Padawan, another where she's a seasoned Jedi, then another at the series finale where she faces Maul in Mandalore. A lot of Star Wars has been gamified already, but not that much has been done with Clone Wars (particularly the later episodes). Avengers could be similar, one taking place during the first Avengers, another happening during Civil War/Infinity War, then an epic finale in Endgame. Imagine a showdown with Thanos in this game, fighting with Tony, Steve, Bruce, and Thor. Hell, maybe you could even throw the movie Soul in there, with its esoteric themes and all.

No it’s the data fights or fighting against the organization in the Disney worlds. That’s one of the nitpicking parts.
I'd say it was the 20+ hours disney worlds filler. Since they.. weren't really plot relevant in KH3

Watching this after watching the KH3 data battles really solidified that KH3's animations are much flashier, but KH2's feels like they have more impact in their finishers. Does that make sense to anyone else but me?
It's all about the sound and visuals. KHII's sound design has much more punch and the visual effects like keyblade combos are more prominent. KHIII's sound design is mediocre and very lightweight, and most keyblade moves look and sound lighter. Sora's doing mostly the same moves but III's design holds the impact back.
Like comparing Modern Warfare's gun sounds and animations to Cold War's.

I was fighting Demyx and got to the part where you gotta take out the 99 forms, tried going Wisdom and got Anti form instead. Never again.
I'm not looking forward to fighting data demyx.....
Demyx is the only fight i ever get anti in.
I think the data fights have multipliers to vastly increase the likelihood of going anti form, so to any young kh2 players out there with similar issues, you might have to go final form a few times next to the heartless right outside the cavern of remembrance to lower your anti points

I recently beat all of the daya fights in critical mode, not level 1 btw and I grinded like 10 defense ups before hand and these fights were hard, this guy makes it look so easy.

Tbf it isn't truly damage, it's closer to health drain. Sora never goes into a stagger from the scorched earth.
Justinian Wiuff He also apparently never dies from it. Once it drained Sora to 1HP, he just stopped taking damage

Man,I still remember when combat was Quick and needed all your attention specifically in fights like roxas,I remember I screamed yes at the top of my lungs when I beated roxas,and even cried,there's never been a game at that time that made me feel so relieved that it ended like kingdom hearts did,man I miss the og games

It took me ages to realize that Saix also used flame attacks like Axel. The one difference is that his are blue.
I'm hoping KH4 will feature Kairi as the playable protagonist with Donald and Goofy serving as her partners just as they did with Sora. It's about time she graduated from damsel While Riku searches for Sora, Yen Sid instructs Kairi to visit different worlds and identify the new 7 hearts after Maleficent and Pete steal a Gummiphone and gives it to Pete's old friend Emil Eagle to see if the data inside will be any good to them. At the same time they also try to find info on the masked people (the lost Masters of course) they saw Xigbar with before they take the Black Box from him. In case Mleficent decides to go after the other princesses, Yen Sid orders Terra, Ventus, Aqua, Roxas, Xion, and Axel to guard Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Alice, Belle, and Jasmine respectively. Since it will be her first time traveling through the worlds, Donald, Goofy, and Jiminy decide to go with her to watch her back. As for Mickey, he's tasked with following aleficent and Pete. This mission will serve as Kairi’s Mark of Mastery. Before she starts her journey, each character bestows Kairi a magic ability: Fire (Axel), Blizzard (Isa), Thunder (Roxas), Magnet (Xion), Earth or Gravity (Terra), Water (Aqua), Aero (Ventus), Cure (Namine), and Stop (Mickey).
The worlds Kairi visits will be based on these movies and in the following order:
Brave
Frozen 2
Cinderella 3
The Little Mermaid 2
Pocahontas
The Princess & The Frog
Mulan 2
Moana
Aladdin & The King Of Thieves
Winnie The Pooh (2011)
The worlds for Tangled the series and Snow White would also be visited but only in cutscenes. Radiant Garden and the Bug Blocks will return. Pocahontas, Tiana, Anna, Rapunzel, and Moana will be confirmed to be 5 of the new hearts. There will also be 6 summons: Olaf, Fairy Godmother, Maui, Genie, Mushu, and the 7 Dwarfs. During all this time, there will be cutscenes of Sora and Riku's time in Quadratum and after clearing all the Disney worlds, Kairi, Donald, and Goofy find their way there and join up with them for the final battles.
Towards the end, everyone learns a startling truth. When the X-Blade was broken into 7 lights and 13 darknesses, not only did the 7 lights become the hearts for the 7 Princesses, but the 13 darknesses became the hearts for 13 of the most black hearted villains, the 13 Lords of Darkness. And all of them must be reunited to recreate the X-Blade.
I also came up with 2 side games:
First there is "KH: Mickey's Quest". This game takes place during the first. It will focus on what Mickey was doing while Goofy and Donald were traveling with Sora. The worlds Mickey visits are based on Gummi Bears, Leroy & Stitch, Bambi 2, Song of the South, The Wind In The Willows, Bedknobs & Broomsticks, Darkwing Duck, and The Great Mouse Detective.
The second is "KH: Bonds of Time" which will follow Roxas and Xion going on a special mission together. This will take place either before or after KH4. Yen Sid has the two of them go back in time to the days of the lost masters to learn more about them and their successors, 2 of whom they recognize as Ventus and Marluxia. Before they arrive in Daybreak Town, they travel to different times in various worlds. The worlds they visit are based on: Beauty & The Beast, The Sword In The Stone, The Hunchback Of Notre Dame 2
, Tarzan 2, Alice In Wonderland, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid 3, 101 Dalmations, and Ducktales The Movie: Treasure Of The Lost Lamp. I chose these movies so we can see their worlds done right with the new graphics and all and we can interact with the young version of Tarzan and Simba. We will also get to fight Gaston, Madam Mim, Cruella, and Merlock. Jiminy procures the aid of Bernard and Miss Bianca from "The Rescuers" to join Roxas and Xion to watch their backs and chronicle their journey on his behalf using the Gummi Phones. The gameplay for this game will be similar to Birth By Sleep only you don't have to create 3 games for 3 separate characters. Instead the player will be able to switch between Roxas and Xion during the journey and battles. Plus if one gets knocked out, the player will automatically be able to switch to the other and heal them when they can. Although both characters can be used, some abilities and techniques will be exclusive to each of them as they level up.
However, if KH4 is going to once again have Sora as the playing character. I hope at least 9 to 10 of these movies will be featured as new worlds.

These sound great, was thinking along the same lines as I finished KH2 for my first time. I'd definitely add Star Wars and Avengers (and a Goofy movie) to that roster, considering that Disney owns these franchises now. I think a series of Clone Wars episodes, one where you meet Ahsoka as a Padawan, another where she's a seasoned Jedi, then another at the series finale where she faces Maul in Mandalore. A lot of Star Wars has been gamified already, but not that much has been done with Clone Wars (particularly the later episodes). Avengers could be similar, one taking place during the first Avengers, another happening during Civil War/Infinity War, then an epic finale in Endgame. Imagine a showdown with Thanos in this game, fighting with Tony, Steve, Bruce, and Thor. Hell, maybe you could even throw the movie Soul in there, with its esoteric themes and all.
