The attacks almost feel more "realistic"; KH2 has a ton of "weight" to the moves and doesn't have all this unnecessary flashiness the other games have.
My goodness. I'm playing this game for the first time just recently, and I've only managed to beat Data Marluxia out of the whole bunch. This is inspiring. I now have to beat them all.

Maybe not necessarily the plot, but they do pretty much know all the games. The other Bizkit (no relation) has some very extensive KH strategy guides on his channel.
So if someone only played BBS and 2 you would trust them more than someone who could have played every game besides BBS simply because they knew that Lingering Will is Terra?

WOW!!! THAT'S AWESOME. It's freaking crazy how people can master a game by being meticulous about finding different strategies and timing. I love the gaming community.
Super late response but for anyone who watches it later here you go: There are three crowns you can get in the game: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. The other guy that commented got part of it right, it is just a cosmetic reward but you don't get one for beating the game. One you get for beating the Mushroom XIII, with each mushroom being in a different world and having its own unique (and often shitty) minigame. You can see them start to appear at 28:40. The next crown you can get is from beating the Organization XIII Data Fights like Bloody did here. The final crown is gotten from beating Terra (Lingering Will) like Bloody did at the end of the video. If you beat one of the above challenges, you get bronze, two gets you silver, and all three gets you the gold crown. Also, fun fact: you can't possibly beat all the mushroom minigames on level 1 because Sora's damage output is simply too low.
Hasan Al-Taie Well judging from the leaked gameplay footages combat I can already tell that KH3’s combat mechanics are nowhere near as free, fluid and technical as KH2’s not to say that I’m gonna hate KH3 because of it, I’m still gonna make the best of what is given but long gone are the glory days of KH2 combat mechanics.
Jodoni_ That’s not the impression 0.2 left on me personally. Any KH combat system that uses the command menu instead of the command deck is automatically technical for me. Maybe not as fluid but that depends on the skills involved, but the targeting in 0.2 is just the same as it was back in 2, so free is definitely a word I’d use for the combat here. While I’m not about to spoil myself on the combat from the leaks, I’d wager the overall feel of it from 0.2 is going to be translated to 3. That’s just me though. To each his own. EDIT: Actually, I take back what I said about fluidity. It is MORE FLUID than ever, and all it took was to make the magic spells executable on movement instead of having to become stationary. I really, really enjoyed it in 0.2 . KHIII is looking so bright for me.

Almost six years later, it still holds up. Beating Lingering Will is literally the only thing I have left to do in the entire game, and I have gotten so incredibly close at times that it is frustrating.
Ross Mitchell he already did; he nerf leaf bracer & combo master, enemies no longer drop prizes only items, second chance will no longer work if ur not at critical health. This is 0.2 critical mode Imagine what kh3 critical mode would be.
When I watched Bl00dy fighting sephiroth and using his strategies, I was very surprised to see that he was doing a lot of the same things that I did when I grinded him out to beat him
It's glorious that the speedrun, LVL 1, and proud/critical modes all have similar combat responses, heavy use of magic and Donald, always uses the power of the Mystic, summons, wisdom form, final form, limit form. And ever after for kh3. It just makes me smile.
I looked up the RNG manip version of the Luxord fight and wow..... it baffles me that anyone would even know such manipulation was possible. Major props to KH speedrunning community for solving that.
Oh god, you seemed so nervous while doing that. I can't imagine how much pressure is behind something so difficult. It was really amazing all of what you did during this run, it shows that you really understand about the game and what you needed to do at a detail level. My favorite part about KH2 speedruns is that they still manage to look cool and badass in a way that the floatiness of later games can't replicate.

Well you get to fight some of them including a pretty tough secret boss but still pretty weak compared to kh2 bosses
This game took me a whole two weeks the first time I played it and this dude beat it in less than 40 minutes... Legend.
