This came at the perfect time - I've been looking at how to make friends videos on youtube all week, because I haven't got any close friends and I've been feeling lonely for ages. Just listening to this made me feel less alone. Thank you x
Awh your not alone! I only have one good friend and my kids are the most fun I have. Lol it's really hard to make friends as an adult specially when your a introvert.
“I just get anxious, okay? Relax” 🤚🏻 Stealing that from Amy 😂
Lisa has always been pretty but recently her style and hair is EVERYTHING 😩💕
I love Lisa’s hair!
Lol I loved it- "deep thoughts with Kath" is a good one.
Being called Aunt, Uncle, Mom, Dad, sister ,brother, cousin, Grandma Grandpa, husband, wife..... These are titles that you GET to have by SPECIAL people in your life. It is a beautiful blessing to have a title like these, please don't belittle them.
Not everyone has good relationships with said people who give you a certain ‘title’. The people special to you are special because of them and they make the title mean something. The title doesn’t make them mean anything
This podcast episode is the gift that keeps on giving. I felt like my skin was cleared plants are watered lungs are filled with fresh air and food was on the table. and had a big smile on my face listening to Kaths poem. A much needed rewatch and I think I missed some of it before
21:35 the last episode was the "single, dating, married" episode, not the tmi girl talk haha
I ❤️ when y’all talk over each other slash are loud, it reminds me of my family cause I have 5 sisters and 2 bros.
Lisa is so beautiful in any case! Even with those funky colours she has dyed her hair in the past.
Listening to you guys while I get ready for the day is one of my favorite things ever
Katherine I need a book of your poems. I can't explain it but that poem really hit and I'm going to be thinking about it all night tonight.
Katherine's poem is so perfect. Thank for sharing, Kath
Lauren!! And Amy! I made a friend at the owl city concert and I MADE THE MOVE. And said I’d love to hang out sometime let’s trade numbers! And it worked and we are hanging out soon and I took your advice and I couldn’t be happier.
1:40 Hello Cimorelli Sisters! I have really liked this episode about relishing the Childhood, making friend as an adult. I am always happy to see the Cimorelli sisters happy with each other in harmony. God bless you all :)
You all talking about opening up to people was sooo helpful! Thank you!
Thank you for this episode. It was very useful and entertaining at the same time
Thank you Cimorelli for posting this episode. I found it really helpful, and you made me feel so much better about not having a huge group of friends....something I've always been insecure about. Xx
Thank you so much for this podcast, more than anything else for the motivation it gave me. I just graduated high school. I had some not so great experiences with friendship in school, and struggled a lot to make friends. For a while I just gave up. Now I decided it's time to reach out and start trying again, and this episode gave me some great ideas as well as a push to keep trying no matter how scared I am.
By God's grace, this has reached me right when i needed it. Feeling lonely here in south korea as an eritrean canadian. Wanting a relationship to share my adventure and plans for the future. Someone to care for and enjoy the mountains and beauty of nature and life.
I loved this episode and really appreciate all of your insights and advice as a young adult currently reanalyzing her friendships! Couldn’t have come at a more perfect time haha. I realized I also tend to downplay a lot and never knew how to describe it until listening to you guys talk about it :o also, Amy 😭 I also do the whole shady thing unintentionally too so I completely relate. I swear I’m not sus, I just don’t like to talk about myself and evade all the questions. I would love to hear more about your journey if you’re comfortable sharing about it because I’m on the same journey 🥺❤️ it’s comforting to know it’s worth the time and work to get there!
I love how much I learn from this podcast, from your experiences to things like the 7 levels of intimacy (which I’m definitely applying to my life now lol). Hearing how friendships change over your life was also reassuring too because I feel like it’s so easy to think that you’re “losing” a friend as you both change or that you need a lot of close “share your deepest shame” friends, but it’s okay! Kath’s poem is so lovely and was the perfect way to end this episode. All of you definitely feel like the Cim Fam’s friends, so thank you for always being so real, so funny, and so thoughtful ❤️ we love the Cim Fam!!
This episode was amazing!
Great episode! Thank you!
You guys are so lucky to have each other!
Love this video. I moved two months ago to the literal opposite side of the world for a year (USA to New Zealand) and to make friends I've been going on the meetup app and looking up events I'd be interested in. I love games and found there was a game fair in my area and that's where I made my first friend here. Before now I had only made friends through school and work, but couldn't rely on that here (I'm a nanny)
That was such a good poem Kath
Love you girls
Lots of good advice love you all ❤️❤️❤️❤️ hope you all have an awesome week. But maybe be more for teens idk just a thought keep on being awesome
Ahhh Kat's poem is sooo good!
Good episode girls as always
loved this episode! I wish i knew other girls like you gals, that can have productive deep conversations about lots of topics. Idk how to find those people 😂😭
Beautiful
Kath should release like an audio book of her poems
A huuuugeee one (for me) that y’all didn’t cover, at least I didn’t hear lol, is bumble bff!!! It’s where I’ve met ALL of my friends in my new town!!
amy to me would be - Aunty M
Love Stranger things so good ❤ my favourite is Robin or Nancy what is your favourite character?
Lol i literally tweeted how i was struggling with this yesterday
I wish I could share one of my poems on here and you guys could read it on a podcast. That would mean the world to me!!
The aunt thing i agree with Lauren, i have a bunch of nieces and nephews and they either call me auntie Tina, or just Tina… I love being called auntie because i love being an aunt, but i feel weird correcting the child, so i usually let my siblings or sibling in laws correct them…. But i ultimately leave it up to the child… the only one that i will correct sometimes is my god daughter i will tell her that i am Nina or nana
Do you saw awnt or ant? I hate the awnt pronunciation lol
@@coolsaint6044 oh I say it like ant… or antie
answer: find a job :)
Auntie Amy
Aunt Lauren
Auntie Kath
Aunt Christina
Auntie Lisa
🤣🤣🤣
The topic starts at minute 27
Personally I don't mind talking about my hopes and dreams right away lolll
Question: are your therapists Catholic? Why or why not? If they aren’t is it awkward talking about anything to do with your religion or does it never come up?
Tell me why I am tearing up listening to Kath's poem
Girrrrrls you are talking over each other
You should pick one name so All the kids call you the same thing
Unloading on a stranger seated next to you on an airplane makes more sense than telling a potential friend or best friend something personal from the start?
Y’all are weird.
You never know.. your friend might never let you live it down and you have to be around them, you’ll never see the stranger again and they have an unbiased view cause they don’t know you 🤷🏼♀️
This pod ep was VERY informative. Definitely opened my eyes to a lot of things. Truly didn’t want this ep to end 🥹
