ladies. my mental health has been struggling. my anniversary was yesterday and after therapy my husband took me out and it helped. it feels very dark in the mental space and watching you guys are so positive and helps boost my mood during these times.

A sanitarium is where they sent people with tuberculosis in like the 60s. My grandfather got sent there until they realized he didn’t actually have tb. The word isn’t based around the word sanity, it sanitary
My points:
"How to kiss" - it's just something that happens. All the googling in the world doesn't help when you're in that moment. Practicing on your arm or on a pillow...NOT the same thing - and nowhere near the emotional butterflies that happen along side it (assuming it's not a bad experience!) - also, A PILLOW DOESN'T PREPARE YOU FOR WHEN YOU BUMP TEETH TOGETHER. OW.
"How to tie a tie" - look, I had to wear a tie for school (dunno why they made the girls do it, but anyway) - my dad tied it for me once, and I kept it loose enough to slip over my head and then tighten daily. I NEVER undid that tie until the end of the school year haha!
I think water is wet if it's making something wet. Like - if it's water in a glass, I don't think it's wet, but if I'm being sprayed with a water gun, water is wet cause it's making me wet.
I thought i can't like Lauren more...amd then Christina recomanding on one of my favourite TV Shows ever - POI(person of interest) and Lauren immidiately chime in to support it.

To get rid of gnats: 6 drops of dish liquid, apple cider vinegar (2 tablespoons),and water. Cover container with plastic wrap, poke holes in the top(gnats go in and get trapped) they're attracted to water. Gnats and fruit flies aren't the same thing

Okay, I love cornflakes but I eat it with chocolate milk. I don't really like it with plain milk, but chocolate milk makes them taste sweeter I guess and it is very good. I also like it by themselves without any milk.

Sanitariums we’re for people with TB (tuberculosis) and other long term illnesses. They were like a health resort! Water treatments (hydro therapy) and healthy eating. They actually helped many people recover from disease that normally would have killed them at that time, because of lack of knowledge.

28:19 *I haven't done much research on this so I may not be 100% accurate*
The guys who escaped from Alcatraz: there was a group of like 4 people I believe (don't remember their names), and they spent a long time during craft time (or whatever it's called) making those dummy heads and I believe a special boat and life jackets (obviously not super high tech, just like a lil dingy)! I think after they had their hole dug and planned an escape date, either the other members got caught trying to leave early or changed their minds because it was too risky, leaving only the 2 people who actually escaped. They've never found the bodies and researchers actually did some kind of test, copying every step of the prisoners' plan, and determined that they could have crossed the bay alive- it was just highly unlikely. About 1-2 years ago I came across and article that described a letter that was supposedly sent from the escaped prisoners (it was signed by both of them and I believe even had photos of them- I'm not sure); kind of just like a "Hey, you didn't catch us, we're still alive, here's what we're up to now!" kind of thing. Again, I'd reccomend that you research it yourself, but that's what I know and I think it's super cool!
lol so the story behind corn flakes is that they were created bc the creator, who was very religious, thought that eating them would help people resist certain "temptations." The Kellogg brothers were doctors at a sanitarium, yes, but that didn't relate to the purpose of the cereal
I don't use Amazon anymore because someone hacked my account and bought a book, that I was charged for. Amazon wouldn't refund my money. They claimed to have investigated it,but found nothing wrong. I didn't buy any books.
