Select the icon which you have inserted, go to 'Graphics tab ->Convert to Shape'. Now you can apply gradient fill. Note: If your icons splits up into multiple shapes then you may have to union them before applying gradient fill.

i have problem with gradient fill color for icons. I can't select the gradientfill option. i'am using microsoft office 365. can you help me?
