Chennai has not included it's suburbs like sriprempadur and many other industrial areas.That's y it's small. But they are planning to add that also and once it is fine it will be larger than Bangalore and Hyderabad.

Sripermabudur is the automobile hub of India.Chennai has diversified economy as it has manufactruing as well as IT industries whereas Hyderabad depends mainly on IT Industries. Chennai has port beaches etc. Chennai has been a metro city for the last 30 years unlike Hyderabad.
