Finally someone that plays it right. 1/4 notes on the hi-hat, shuffle the snare and 16th notes on 1 and 3 in the kick. and 1 and 3. Nice. Never see many people play it right.

Thanks mate! Yeah, it’s a tough shuffle to keep solid with the left hand (being right
handed). I believe it’s called a “Texas Shuffle”. Frank Beard was great at these and does something very similar in La Grange
