When I do this job I have a wood chipper on the back of the tractor and the stuff goes straight in. It’s surprising how much you can get done in a day with this approach especially if you can get a helper to feed the branches as you trim them off.
We picked up a Kobalt equivalent at Lowes this year. It works well and is quicker than hooking up the big mini clip to the front end of the tractor. I gotta admit the mini clip is much more fun to use though.
A few years ago I bought myself a pole saw (mine is a Milwaukee) and even though I don't use it a whole lot, that thing is really handy. Saved me many hours pruning tree limbs for both my tractor and truck.

Howdy Hank!! I hate to be a negative Nellie, but you bought the wrong color(Dewalt) pole saw. You should have bought the red combi (Milwaukee) one 😂😊. I have the red combi with pole saw, trimmer, and hedge trimmer. It is totally awesome. Also, my neighbor just bought home a TYM 474 with backhoe, grapple, third function of course, Bluetooth speakers, ROPS lights, loaded tires, and whatever else. Now I gotta take my little Kioti CK2610 over and challenge him😊.🚜🚜. Take care.

I've had the same Dewalt pole saw for a couple years. The only complaint I have is that they really need to make a longer middle section to be able to reach the dead palm trees fronds without having to climb up on a ladder to reach them. Holding a 10' pole saw while on a 16' ladder isn't my idea of a fun time. If you've got any of the Dewalt folks listening, a 6-8' range extension would be a really good addition.
Hey Hank it's really nice to see you back again with another video and it's really cool that you got a pole saw hopefully it works out for you I have been enjoying your videos like I've always said because right now I could use your videos and your content because I have a lot going on and I found out that I have possible heart trouble in my arthritis is getting worse

I use vegetable oil for bar oil in my chainsaw that's what they use in Australia it's cheaper and biodegradable.
Ok Hank, I love the price of your solution here, yet I love the functionality of the pole saw that Tractor Time with Tim has with the LimbSaw a third function powered hydraulic pole saw, however even that is limited to a 20" bar. If only they used a different drive link pitch they could have a 42" bar on it according to the Stihl saw website. If they add a simple rake like finger guard, it would act much like a sickle bar. Taking meter long swaths with each pass of the loader mast. I wanna know why this doesn't already exist and at a price point that is reasonable??? Please use your influence in the industry to make it happen.
Of course it is a matter of how much you care about the trees you're dealing with, as I have been known to put my forks on the loader and run it up and down the trunk just breaking the offending limbs off the trunk. Trees really don't like seeing me on the tractor.

Hey hey the quick question that I have the little sticks and limbs do you ever sometimes if you can't clean all the sticks and limbs up do you ever leave those around sometimes and turn those into mulch to help grow your grass
