Sometimes you just need to read the manual. I have seen these things run, and they are great if they are set up correctly. If you are just turning random knobs it is easy to throw things all out of whack and getting back to running condition will take ages. The angles were also wrong, and he adjusted the opening instead of the angle. The direction of the jaws was backwards, which depending on the machine can happen by adjusting the jaws past the center point or shifting the transmission into reverse, which could explain the lack of power. Another option could be the hydraulic regulators on the individual lines being turned down and he is only adjusting the main regulator, which changes the flow on all of them at once, causing some to go too fast/slow while dialing in another.

This video only proves that we shouldn't ever rent or buy anything that resembles this type of crusher, it is meant for already crushed or smaller rocks , as always Andrew great job. I keep learning as I watch your videos.
A guy I do work for(5 million dollar company) gets talked into buying these Chinese toys. He recently bought a mini vibratory roller, and has spent more time tightening bolts and fixing things than it has ran. If it doesn’t pay to own the real deal, it’s best to just rent them when needed.
Yet at 51:27 a close pin saved the moment. Probably the only thing in this video besides the old school grease canister that he bought at a yard sale many moons ago that was made in the USA and is still going strong minus a hose.
I think you have a key in a shaft sheared off. That’s why the belt stops. If it’s a light load it catches just enough to turn the shaft but if it’s too heavy then the drive gear just spins on the shaft. I’ve seen a lot of these. Just something to check. Replace the key in the shaft and it should turn.
Another thing to notice is at the mouth of the crusher if materials get backed up there is a tendency to pull materials under the belt and clog the return feed.
As soon as I opened this video and seen the crusher, I said to myself, I give it an hour before Andrew is beating on it with a sledge hammer . . . . . . when I seen the huge crescent wrench come out I thought, well, maybe he forgot his sledge hammer . . . . LOL

what you clearly need at 12:42 in the video are a set of "Grizzly Bars" for over/on the crusser. so that stones that are too large no longer end up on the infeed belt but are sieved out beforehand
Andrew; Caterpillar is Worlds biggest- then #2 is Komatsu Iron Works that was started by Takeuchi Mining Industry as a subsidiary to make industrial tools for the parent company. Komatsu was spun off on May 13, 1921, was founded by Meitaro Takeuchi; who said' his goal was to build tools for people to be able to work: instead of building tools that work doing tasks ! I found used Komatsu Rock Crushers that are available locally ! Note' I don't know' I just researched Japan ( rock crushers ) instead of China made !
When the video started I thought this might be better than the little one you tried before. Sure didn't end that way and you gave it every chance possible.
Mini is the word here. if you want to make gravel smaller, this is your huckleberry. if you want to crush rock, ya can't go mini. I would call this a fail. send her home.
Hello Andrew. The crusher did not come with a user/owner manual so you began writing your own. I thought the feeder belt was going to shred itself because the rocks were not being crushed in an efficient way. Fuel lines: regular gasoline will eat those, but those orange lines looked like the wrong thing to be transporting gasoline. The machine can't turn itself: I thought the battery would have already been replaced and the alternator checked for charging capability. Then you show the reason for not replacing more, it's going back. The machine did not look new to me, but it may have been the shade of blue. That big crusher you have is most impressive. Have good days!
Hey Andrew, you can add belt along the sides of your feed conveyor and along the rear to prevent debris from jamming your belt. I use old crusher belt and bolt it on. It seems like the motor on your feed conveyor may have a bypass issue. Usually the operator is elevated above the crusher so he can see the feed conveyor, try to bench your self. Prior to crushing large rocks are sorted out of the stock pike to prevent jamming. This machine seems something suitable for a softer rock. The feed tray is not meant to be loaded up, finding the perfect feed rate in time will increase your throughput. If the rocks aren't crushing assing a bit more material helps. Check your feed conveyor belt tension also. People judge the equipment due to manufacturer, in my experience use the machine for its intended purpose. Hope you can iron out the kinks, it looks like a fun little crusher
It appears that quite often you find it necessary to use jumper cables to start one of your machines. A company I worked for many years ago had this same situation. They ended up installing jacks in the equipment (similar to the jack to plug in a welder) in order to simplify the situation and not need to clip jumper cables to the batteries. The standard jumper cable had jacks on each end of the cable.

I worked for a company many years ago. We screened material for a short time. They also tried crushing some of it. I’m sure they spent a million dollars or more on the crusher. I wasn’t involved with it but the short story was once they got it running it broke. And they didn’t try using it again. We were trying to crush concrete with rebar and I’m sure it just destroyed the thing but we also screened material and with conveyers and material processing you basically have to be very precise with everything and not put anything to large in there and load it really slow and even then it still breaks and clogs and sucks. So props to ya for trying so hard.
i've never caught myself so entranced by crushing rock so completely. I do get anxious every time I see you near the machine with it running. Once you cut to you maintaining the grease drum you know something getting fixed =]
Thanks for cleaning the trailer off before going down the road and causing broken windshields,,,much better than a "stay back 500 feet" sign on the back of the trailer.
It might be new and used as a demo but it's already worn out. It seems that the hydraulic pressure was set awfully low. It would have been nice to see it above the half way point in the green on the gauge. Another thing I noticed is the stationary crusher jaw was jumping up and down, which could have been because the crusher was running in reverse. One more thing the input conveyor, it was nice that it slipped when there was a jamb at the crusher to keep the belt from getting shredded by the sharp edges of the stone but it should have continued to run after the jamb cleared. If this was any indication of the O-Build Bionic brand, that 3D concrete printer will be a POS after the first print. If you are going to spend good money you shouldn't have to "improve" or "upgrade" something right out of the box. It seems you have to do this to most of this Chinese crap.
The crusher is made by Upsen, the same Chinesium brand that made the green POS mini crusher Andrew tested a few months ago. I have no idea why Build Bionic felt the need to repaint this unit in their company colors.

In his last years, a bevy of RUclips creators gave him a larger view to the outside world, showing lives akin to his own, and also lives he could have led, but chose other paths. He saw images of his homeland, rode along with pilots, narrowboat, bus, train and truck drivers, watched as an old ship was painstakingly brought back to life, laughed as the King's Guard horses got narky. Dad would often fall asleep watching the content you all created, listening to the voices of people who had become like friends. In his final days, when he was restless and unable to sleep, or was afraid to sleep, he asked for you all. Dad had family with him at all times, but he also found comfort in hearing the activites and voices of the people who had kept him company throughout the years, he shared with us your stories, and was able to rest. I hope knowing that you had a positive impact on someone's life, in a far away place, uplifts you. Thank you 🙏
Would like to point out that the panel this machine has now is not the panel shown by the manufacturer in their page. It's different (more modern). I'm betting top dollar someone went and replaced the control panel's guts and made a mess of the pressure, orientation and possibly other settings.
Well i haven't been watching for while, didn't know you hadyour own rock quarry set up and you were trying to have a rock crusher at the end of your conveyor belt.Good job , as always a great video
The feed belt and hopper looked like it was in transport mode. It maybe could be unbolted and lifted up so the belt was horizontal. That would have closed the gap at the jaw hopper opening too, cause there was a bunch of material spilling out the sides that should not be able to. The low hydraulic pressure sure felt like a worn out hydro pump. The engine was mostly chugging along but no pressure being built up. Orrr, the individual hydro motors were worn out. Or both. The feed angle in the jaws was obviously too step. Instead of going from 10 inch material to 3/4, it looks like it'd run much smooth with a 3 inch opening. Then re-run the material if you want it smaller. The stationary plate was also bouncing around some and I don't think that's supposed to do that. It could be something was worn out or broken behind that plate. That could change the feed angle and gap as well. And I'm curious what engine RPM it was supposed to run at. 2000rpm felt a little low. While you were messing around did you try to crank it up to 3000?
The chinese dingleberry that assembled it probably used run of the mill garden hose lines for the fuel lines. I've never seen thinner lines than what you showed us... hell, even the small lines on my string trimmer aren't that thin.
On the big crushers, we run in reverse putting soft materials thru it, like asphalt. Because it compresses when everything is hot it will jam it up and smoke the belts because the sensor doesn't feel the pressure like when a big hard rock is in the jaw or a piece of metal from demo goes thru

It was running for its life!
It succumbed in the end. Resistance is futile.
52:51 ”and of course it stopped, what a piece of shit 💩” 🤣🤣🤣
Should have been painted brown from the factory cause it appears to be a big turd. 💩
Yet at 51:27 a close pin saved the moment. Probably the only thing in this video besides the old school grease canister that he bought at a yard sale many moons ago that was made in the USA and is still going strong minus a hose.
And it takes a lot to take Andrew to that point ....lol so we must assume that machine is in fact a big piece of shit o😅😅😅😅😅😅

The fart and the part where you are on your phone while that slow thing creeps along HAD ME WEAK! Great video AC, thanks for the content brother!
When I saw this machine, it is for finishing the finest stones. It must work together with another machine that you have. Hugs, Brazil!!!
If the shaft wouldn’t spin, it would tear the belt into pieces. 😊
You can see it in 34:30 both belt and the saft.
It’s got a thousand other issues aswell though, Chinese built being the main one
@@WigneyRjust about everything is mad in china now. Not all of it is bad
As soon as I opened this video and seen the crusher, I said to myself, I give it an hour before Andrew is beating on it with a sledge hammer . . . . . . when I seen the huge crescent wrench come out I thought, well, maybe he forgot his sledge hammer . . . . LOL
exactly, was not curshing like it was supposed to, you can just see his frustration!
Good call on the little crusher, back to the toy shop!
You are amazing, gifted, talented, tenacious, handsome, admirable, respectable, and you make interesting videos that even old women like me enjoy watching. Love you, Andrew!
@@brendaphillips4550 thank you.
loving the sounds in the first shots of this video, wonderful shooting and editing, very engaging!
I would love to have one of those! I have no idea why, I live in an apartment building in The Bronx.
This is a very funny comment.

I wish I had his container castle workshop that thing is AWESOME! 😲😲
All fair points.
If Zerk won't take grease, try heating Zerk with a small torch. It softens the grease/dirt plug.
My Friday night is saved. A long format video from Andrew to save the day!!!
“I should’ve kept the truck closer to this thing” Add this to the list of top Camarata-isms 😂
As soon as I seen the thumbnail I'm like well I give it 5 minutes before Andrew is climbing inside this thing
You asked what Cody thought about it. He said “it looks like an accident waiting to happen to me, i had a word with Blue about it and he thinks the same” 😊. All the best from England, I’m sure you will sort it out, without getting hurt.
what you clearly need at 12:42 in the video are a set of "Grizzly Bars" for over/on the crusser.
so that stones that are too large no longer end up on the infeed belt but are sieved out beforehand
You have a lot of patience 😮.
Companies should get with you on testing their products, you push the limits so having the “Camarata tested and approved” would boost their sales
Diesel
@@HubertofLiege I could not see the color. It looked mainly like air bubbles. Cheap fuel lines anyway.
It needs the feeder re-designed to a shaker, and the hydraulic issue figured out.
When I saw you rip the hose off the grease zerk I was thinking you needed a LockNLube and then here you are putting one on the hose.. I love mine. lol
Yeah, that does make greasing stuff more enjoyable.

Maybe a bigger machine so you don’t have to keep putting your hands/arms at risk. Enjoying the cha. Tks for sharing.
He has a bigger machine. It's on his mountain.
That would ruin the point of having a small machine...
Good thing you were able to test run crusher before any money changed hands, Now You Know.

The touch you had to pull that rock out of the crusher, nice skillmanship, Andrew!
@@Annon89 my big rock crusher works well
i've never caught myself so entranced by crushing rock so completely. I do get anxious every time I see you near the machine with it running. Once you cut to you maintaining the grease drum you know something getting fixed =]
Nice to see Andrew back and letting us in on the next job at hand. Better than actually doing it myself.
That’s some high quality Chineseium 😂
What's wrong with the quality?
Thanks for cleaning the trailer off before going down the road and causing broken windshields,,,much better than a "stay back 500 feet" sign on the back of the trailer.
That thing is use to having 3 chinese men feeding small rocks into the hopper being paid a big bag of rice per week working 18 hour days...
The kindest thing I can say about it is it would make a good boat anchor.....if the boat was big enough.
ouch 🤕 ...but I do agree 💯
Man you crushed it with this video as usual 😉
Reverse the hoses on the jaw crusher. It looks to be rotating the wrong direction. The jaws are choking on instead of swallowing the material.
Yeah, I think you are right.
I never do this but I see my friend struggling a bit
Strap your keg of grease to the two wheeler
spray a little bit of WD40 on the inside of your hoses
move into around a bit with your finger right to the tip
and insert onto the male fitting
The hose will slide right in Great for those
hard to reach places
Been with you since your beginning on RUclips and
these are only suggestions Keep up your great work!!!
Andrew Your stationary jaw liner is loose that is why the stones dont crush
shhhhh we're trying to shit on china, stop it with the facts and logic and simple reason why it's not working well

Your drone must be your favorite tool looks so useful.
Another fine video and narration, eh! You certainly do have the knack for sorting those machines that actually work as they should. Seems that the Chinesium products just can't hack it! Well done!

My Dad, who I had lived with and cared for, for 14 years, passed away a few weeks ago.

Wow patience is definitely your virtue! Thing can’t stalling out every load it seemed like.
this is more of a stone collector and stacker than a crusher 😁
All nuts bolts and other stuff should be dripping with lock tight it is just like a Harley you run it for a day and tighten up everything for a week
3. Pumps shot, hydraulic motors shot. Load it up and return it. And you successfully Made your worst post. JMO!!
One belt is about done, it already had some holes in it.
On the big crushers, we run in reverse putting soft materials thru it, like asphalt. Because it compresses when everything is hot it will jam it up and smoke the belts because the sensor doesn't feel the pressure like when a big hard rock is in the jaw or a piece of metal from demo goes thru
