Keep up the good work guys as we both enjoy your travelogues enormously being both inspirational and highly informative. Being of a similar age we are always in awe of how you cope without the luxury of the WC. Doesn’t seem to hold you back and shows us all that the advantages of being able to get to any spot in a van with such a small footprint certainly outweighs the in-convenience! 🤦Highly admirable in truth but rather you than me! Safe travels folks!

Our setup is primitive but I no longer even think about loos, Carol does a bit but less and less with each trip. 😁

That's definitely the way to do it. Whatever the weather throws at you, go with the flow. After all, you are halfway to the Emerald Isle so you're going to get some rain. Coastal areas are almost always as picturesque in the rain as in the sunshine. It's a shame you can't put the drone up though. Still plenty of opportunity when you move to the other end. 🤔👍

Interesting re the restricted drone flying . I will remember that .
I got permission to fly my drone next to the main airport on Shetland isles I few years ago . After talking to an airport official , I was given air traffic controls phone number. It was early on a Sunday morning with no flights due in from the mainland until mid day.
Taking photos of an Iron Age Broch settlement . Checked in with air traffic control prior to launching and given a brief ,then phoned back once completed with drone powered off.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of your adventures on Ellen Vallin, did you know the Gibb brothers were born there The Bee Gees. There is a new statue of the boy's on Douglas promenade. If you go through Union Mills you will see a post office with house, their mother ran that. Enjoy Xx

IoM is such an amazing place!
The Glens are wonderful to go on walks. Glen Maye being one of my favourite also Garwick Beach, but be aware your clutch needs to be in good shape for that road there 😂

The Isle of Man - apart from where I live -Tasmania - is my favourite place on earth. Spent many wonderful holidays there as a child and went back for a visit a few years before Covid raised it's ugly head. Can remember travelling along Marine Drive to Port Soderick before it became unstable and they closed part of it off. Going to enjoy your series of videos

When you go up there its known as the Bungalow and you will find a bronze statue of Joey Dunlop a local irish rider with many credits to his name. Never met Joey, moved to Ballymoney soon after his death in Estonia, but met his family and his brother Robert, who is sadly deceased as well
