Cool off during this mostly leisurely ride that features 950,000 gallons of water, three dips and a five-story waterfall! Those seated in the front are much more likely to get drenched but those in the back will get wet as well. FastPass AND Single Rider are offered for this ride. 4K / HD POV.

I love how much faster the current is in this ride at night time. It's my favorite time to ride it, and my favorite ride throughout both parks. Can't wait to ride it in 2 months!

Disneyland is so awesome and splash mountain is my favorite ride. I adore the characters and I'm going as Br'er Rabbit for Halloween because I'm so obsessed with this ride lol.

what did they do in the referb?

they repainted the attraction (it had faded colors which weren't good), they replaced the lift system (it may have worn out over the years) and they also adjusted the biggest drop's angle because the other two splash mountains (walt disney world's magic kingdom and tokyo disneyland) had a 45 degree big drop and disneyland's splash mountain had a 47 degree drop, so now they all have the same angle drop
i think they also removed some of the animatronics (either they weren't fixed in time for the reopening or they retired them for good (because they came from an attraction called america sings in tomorrowland which was some years older than their current home is (it opened in 1975 and closed in 1988), and splash mountain was opened in 1989)
