Hi there! I'm not personally a fan as I've been trained to work with her as a meditation, but I know some traditions love day ceremonies and I deeply honor that :)
So i sit in Peruvian style Aya ceremonys and columbian style yagé ceremonys and ive noticed the two being very different for me and im wondering what makes the two so different is it actually different plants used? Im shure i could call my medicine people and ask but i thought id ask you since were on the topic?
You bet - yes, quite often the Peruvians use Chacruna and Colombians use Challiponga (in addition to Aya) - so it could very well be the medicine is different!
There's very little info because very few are doing this - in the traditions I studied we do not touch people on the medicine, it's too sensitive - but I know some do and have magical results, but this is rare and isolated practice.
Many tribes of a modern kind, doing brand-new work same spirit by side
Joining hearts and hands and ancestral twine, ancestral twine
Best medicine song ever :)
Super neat indeed! Thanks kat ❤
Anytime sweetness!!!
I do have a question, Madre is for night ceremony. I heard people doing in during day time. How do you feel about this? Thank you!
