You forgot the most important tip: Letting go and not excepting anything and being ready to receive what ever happens in humility. US-Americans call it "Let go and let god"
@@mycrazeee It was absolutely life changing it's been a year now. And it has been a year of drastic transformation for me. I found I went in hoping for a magical fix to all my problems. What I got was the insight and clarity to fix my life myself. It's still a process and I hope to go again soon. But, I would recommend it to anyone who feels the call. 🙏❤️
Thank You! Madre Ayhuasca called and I will be in ceremonies mid October. No one else has shared this information! It rather funny as one thinks seriously about these simple three things it is common sense!
Thank you for your videos. I will have my first experience with ayahuasca in March. The information in your videos are very helpful in my preparations.
My first ceremony was last night and I had trouble connecting. Very distracted by the others around me. I will definitely implement sitting and being more intentional tonight ❤
1:I have never heard anyone say this, nor on youtube, so many Things speak against it. People usualy sit up in the short beginning, then lie Down, and go deep, i have been to 8 ceremonies so far. 2:I usually lie with palms upwards 3: Decent point thank you for sharing. Although i don't fully agree. You have an intention and then you let it go. You basically use the intention like a lighthouse when it gets really dark and rought under the ceremony, you recall your intention. As the saying goes "Mother aya does not give you what you want, but what you need" Have a blessed day
@@bolocanalberto I didn't take it. I found out the "shaman" was a questionable character and also I'm still afraid, I healed with time, patience, books and therapy instead and still is an ongoing process.
Best ayahuasco ceremony prep video I've seen Thank you so much brother! Your intention came through. Thank you for the clarity. I've got a ceremony in a couple days and I'm excited now :-)🎉 Thank you universe
Thank you, it helps to understand my past experience. I had only one experience and of course played down after drinking medicine but… it was such intense but great experience! I didn’t know what to do or what to expect, I went into it unprepared but with very attentive shaman. As medicine started to work it made me do what you just said! I made sit down, take a posture, place my hands to be open and accept Devine. And of course so many other things…
Thanks for this. These are succinct, actionable steps, which are much easier to follow than the vague advice like, surrender, let go, etc. Will put them into practice as best as I can.
@@bimmer332 I have a good innerwork with feeling in the retreat, I have change a lot of things already now . I diddent have visualize effect on the Ayahuasca M, maybe next time 🙏🏻. Normaly june or july I go back ✊🏻.

My lower back screams at me when I try to sit for more than an hour or so and I really want to be prepared this time. Thank you
Practice makes perfect, also do core exercises. Strong core supports a strong back. Also, if you practice conscious breathwork your diaphragm will strengthen and support your core which will support your back
I am intending to be in ceromony, I am sixty years old and I have atrial fibrillation, I can find a piece of information about whether I am putting myself in danger. I am going to take part for sue. just want to put my mind at rest.
Start with 1 as you hold the cup in your hand, then through the night if something feels pressing and important you can ask mentally and the medicine will listen and see if it's appropriate to go that way.
Intention means expectation and your rational mind wanting to control the direction of the experience and this is NOT THE PURPOSE. The Idea is to BE OPEN TO ANYTHING that the plants give you, BAD or GOOD. Isn’t it?🙂
Intention means direction, not expectation. In a relationship you have the intention of connecting lovingly and in a beautiful way, yet you welcome the waves of positive and challenging experiences. It’s the same with the plant. She’s open to cocreating with you, not merely a tyrant ready to impose he will
it's interesting and kind of confusing because the pervian cermony shaymin told us to lie on our side, preferably left side after we have our medicina?
Are you saying if people lay down like many do, spirit won't engage with them as powerfully? Ive never taken ayahuasca but I hear of many people laying down. I'm just trying to get this straight.
most meditation practices recommend an erect spine. laying down you just risk falling asleep, however some people have an easier time surrendering if they’re laying down. It’s a matter of exploring
What do you think, what can one ceremony can give? Last 30 years I Neuro, psychotherapist, has a lot meditation practice, work in different countries, different mindsets. But I've never tried any psychedelics. (Only once mushrooms but it wasn't deepest some meditation practice). I'm looking for some answer, that didn't find yet. But unfortunately I don't have enough money for many ceremony's. Still I feel like I wanted to speak with Ayahuasca.
what is your budget? there are plenty of medicine houses where retreats are affordable. “not having enough money” is sometimes where the work begins. (prioritizing, trusting our creative capacities, being resourceful AND committing)
@@AyahuascaRetreat unfortunately for now I don't have a budget. Maybe depend on place, but working in mental clinic gives opportunity to pay bills and get some food. But I did find some opportunities before and probably I'll find it in this time. It's complicated to imagine it in Peru. But anyway I'm looking for some way
@@AyahuascaRetreat thank you for your reply. I am currently trying naltrexone, but i know ayahuasca will help me so much more because of traumas etc etc. Thank you for your videos they are very insightful
Does anyone know why some people experience a hard and long shaking during the Ayahuasca ceremony? I heard that the shaking or trembling of the body might cause the person to die, but I'm not sure.
We haven't heard of anyone dying from shaking. Shaking is another way in which the body and our nervous system releases energy and tension. Other ways are screaming and crying. Shaking, however, is the most common across other mammals. In ceremony it can happen when there are vast amounts of energy running through one's system (and the body isn't very prepared or grounded to handle it) or when stagnant energy, emotions and trauma are released in a cathartic manner.
@@AyahuascaRetreat Hi Enrico, shaking happens to me a lot during ceremonies and I was curious to know why. I did think that it was energy and at times I just don't know what to do with it!
That is call demon possessions, when you empty your mind either satan or God will enter in you. According to the Bible God will not enter in that manner.
Shaking is normal and fine. In fact, I have been in ceremony where I intentionally shake my hands, arms, legs to release energy. Allow it to happen intuitively. Never force anything.
My Shaman says to lay on the left side to digest properly and keep it down, especially to lay still first hour. Do you mean try to sit after the urge to purge has passed?
I take a capsule of PEA 30 minutes prior to 180mg harmalas and ingest the DMT 5 minutes later (pharmahuasca). Usually the PEA prevents the need to vomit.
thats kinda BS because when i had my first ayahuasca experience i was laying down in the woods and since i was laying down my body was let loose to do whatever it needed to do… in my case my body was doing alot of free form movements it would not have been able to do had i was sitting up, or placing my hands in a certain way because my body took on movements that was not within my control… bad advices!!!
Involuntary, unconscious dissipation of energy through movement happens when a person doesn't have a system capable of handling increased amounts of energy. You see this in Ayahuasca ceremonies, kundalini yoga and even Tibetan buddhism. You will never find the shaman or monk shaking all over the place. Discipline is key if you want for your ceremony to be more than a mere "free form" somatic release. Nothing wrong with that, but it's extremely limited given the depths that Ayahuasca can take you to.. If you can handle sitting upright, at the very least.
Nonsense... if the medicine and dose is right mother Aya is coming no matter how you sit or lay... and when you're deep in you're not thinking about your hands. And..I don't care what intention you go in with.. mother Aya will do as she pleases.
I disagree with a few things.......god is not coming to you.....you are going to god, the universe, the spirit or how ever you want to call it. As a guest in "god's" house I want to be clean.........so I do my proper diet.....he can see me coming clean to his house and rewards me with insights without to much of physical purgings. I don't go drink aya with an intend....I am there to receive since he knows better what I need.......aya never gives you what you want, but what you need........t
