Hello.. Your channel popped up on my feed and im blown away. I have been studying healing of Ayahuasca. And to see people that look like me talking about it is a calling
I love your perspective on Ayahuasca. I've been trying to find someone who looks like me who has been healing with sacred plant medicine. Thank you I know grandmother Aya is calling me.
@@mstootable so glad you asked….the answer is Definitely! I recommend that over traveling with others any day. Ultimately even if you went with a group, it’s a solo journey inside. When you take the medicine you’re gonna be inside yourself for hours on end. Sometimes mixing with others you know can influence your journey in ways that are not healthy. They even recommend that couples journey separately or if they do travel together that they sit separately so they can be IN and not influenced.
Wow thank you for sharing. I teared up a little when you spoke about how the darkness said “give it back.” I sat with Huachuma in Peru and seeing the healing it gave to others in the group was an amazing experience. I will sit with Ayahuasca one day, but I am in no rush. I know the opportunity will come when the time is right. Off to part 2 now 😃
Yes everything when the time is right. These plants are gracious and incredible healers. I love them and their generous offerings! Thanks for sharing 💫
The way you weave words together is magical. That and your gentle energy makes for compelling viewing which is why I've just subscribed! I found your video because I have just booked an ayahuasca retreat in Portugal in January and was doing some research as a result. But I'm also looking to change my eating habits and thats what youre all about so double winner! Thank you so very much for sharing, so beautifully, your experiences and thoughts. Love this and love you!! Particularly from your incredible individual presence and perspective. I never belonged to a village and family until I met my dearest sister from Nigeria. She wholeheartedly embraced me into her family over 20 years ago and the heart and healing from that support because I grew up in a Christian cult has been lifesaving and has led to a secure attachment of love. I appreciate your presence and this was a gorgeous and I really appreciate your kind explanation and wisdom.

Interesting. Came here to learn something. Instantly learn that Ayahuasca does not automatically decolonize the mind from external ideological contagions.
Good lesson. Ayahuasca doesn’t “automatically” do anything. That’s another lesson - get rid of the idea that there are quick fixes and magic pills. Those only exist in the colonized mindset. What Ayahuasca offers is an opportunity to “deworm” the body of thoughts and ideas that pollute the inner self and outer world. It also extends an invitation for those who have the experience to go out and do the necessary daily work of staying connected to Earth wisdom while navigating colonized places. Have you sat with Ayahuasca? If so, what did she teach/show/reveal to/for you?
Thank you for sharing, much appreciated. So looking to the day this incredible medicine will be made available to everyone, not simply those who can afford $7,480 for a Lotus Vine Journey Retreat, not to mention air fare and other expenses. Until it is, how much healing can there be in the world?
Interestingly enough, her price doubled after I took the retreat. However, I’ve also learned of communities who do it for as low as $300/session. I haven’t worked with them per se but others have. I can only recommend what I’ve experienced. If you message me on Instagram @shelleywellness I can put you in touch with those particular communities
Thank you so much for sharing. I watched the video of the other Black woken sharing their experiences too. I’d love to know if you or the others have had any experiences with San Pedro and can potentially speak to that compared to Ayahuasca. Thank you again for sharing! 😊
I’ve had experience with Huachuma which is sometimes called San Pedro. I’m not sure if they are different cacti or the same… but either way the difference si experience is I took it during the day instead of night. It lasted longer and I purged differently than with Ayahuasca. Also with Ayahuasca I did more mental work and with Huachuma I did more heart work. Both helped me feel lighter 💫
