    Great and practical advice. I have only the highest respect and gratitude for this Divine energy of Unconditional Love and the healing It gifted me. I attended a retreat 5 months ago for 11 days and 5 ceremonies with a wonderful Shaman from Peru. Ceremony 1; She gently introduced 'Herself', C2; she decided to do deep and a lot of serious work on me, which involved many dimensions. C3; I learned how to not let the energy control me completely, C4; I met Her in full, while she was healing my body and adjusting its DNA, C5 has not been revealed to my mind or awareness yet :-). In our ceremony the Shaman sang non stop and when things got confusing, one tip was to listen to her Ikaros, which might be the best grounding tip - apart from my purge bucket, which became the single most important real thing untouched by all the shifts in all the realities I experienced during all the ceremonies :-) Namaste, Keith

    One of the best summaries I’ve seen. I would also add that when one feels “lost”, it might also be helpful to “go to the music” - focus on the music ( - Ikaros or other the music being played if any). As music can lead you “home”. But as said, shamans or their healer-helpers are there to help if necessary. Often like amazing angels. Beautiful video.

    Great advice in this video. I arrived at almost the same ideas when I drank Ayahuasca, as the mantra I came to use was “Relax, Breathe, and Surrender.” I came to value my difficult experiences with Ayahuasca greatly because that is where the most healing seemed to take place. Ayahuasca’s ability to facilitate deep emotional healing is truly amazing. I’m looking forward to listening to Part 3.

    @deep_diver6694 6 лет назад +3

    Thanks for this video Christina. I must say during a very challenging ceremony the position of "witness" or allowing oneself to "surrender" can feel utterly impossible and totally beyond grasp- particularly because of aya's unique tendency to hijack and completely dominate your thought process. I'd compare it to forcing someone who's never flown in their life onto a tiny airplane, tying them down to a chair while climbing to 10,000 ft, then being told the floor beneath you and chair will slip away at any moment- but you must keep anxious thoughts at bay, observe whats happening, and "surrender" completely. A delicious theoretical impossibility at best!
    I would tell anyone trying aya for 1st time among other things- PLS be safe, do your homework and if you go through with it expect your worst fears to come to life in a hyper-reality that exaggerates those fears in ways you can't comprehend while it chews away at all the strengths you thought you had. Clearly this doesn't happen to everyone yet others would tell you it can be much worst than what I describe above. So many factors come into play, the shaman, the retreat, the brew itself, medical staff if any, your medical history, mental state, etc etc ....if you do it do it right folks.

      lancer smitty - Hey there Lancer, I have only completed 2 ceremonies in Peru so Im certainly not your best source. At the same time im compelled to tell the world this can turn into the most difficult battle of your life. Im no stranger to psychedelics yet for me something about the 2nd ceremony was much more 'disturbing' with aya at the soul level. It shook me to the core like nothing else has ever done. I decided this is nothing i would ever dabble in again. There are other ways to show a child not to grab from the cookie jar besides hands flat on a burning stove. I must say i did learn my lesson yet it took months for me to voluntarily revisit that night in memory and sometimes i feel like i gained more bagage than i lost. Please share your questions, id be happy to try answering them.

      Hi! Nutmah first off all that's reality! its like going thru de Universe on a voyage and land on whatever you need to know (that's how I describe it!) You can see what's illusion(reality) and whats the spiritual world on the day of the ceremony {because I saw both sides like a door going thru to a different space} I recommend to write down, because usually you will have the time to write down , it takes a whole night and insomnia in my case after the experience. You will be able to record what was the message of Aya and later, be open and understand !!Only passing to that experience you understand ! it doesn't give you what you want but what you need to know ,like Christina ill say prepare diet one week before and be even more restrict on the same day.
