He should be included in the top ten or at worst be the asterisk to the list as #11. Over on the Crowded House comments, I mentioned Neil Finn and Mike Campbell stepping in for Lindsey since 2018. IF FWM never goes out again,... (and while there are 2 or 3 respectable FWM cover bands out there),... I would love to see a FWM Tribute album done by The Cranberries, (on hiatus since Dolores O'Riardan's passing R.I.P.), along with Adele stepping in for Christine's part, -- and IF not the Cranberries then Adele with Florence and the Machine, where Florence could do the Stevie parts. Great on-ramp to this classic band. "Rhiannon" would be a good next song, and from there??? late 70s or '87 FWM, so many ways to go.
Always interesting to see you both react to newer and older music. If your dad is going to react to more EDM and you want a bit more unique songs then I suggest KSHMR who mixes EDM with the instruments of other countries (like his homeland of India). If looking for "Big Room genre" I suggest Blasterjaxx who has a lot of awesome recent releases. If looking for more "Progressive House" I would suggest Alok with his new releases "Wherever you Go" or "Headlights." I think your dad might like "Electro Swing" as well but I do not have a good suggestion for a recent release.
I think it’s great👍! As a mom who became widowed when our 4 sons were young, there’s nothing more important than keeping that bond between us…..& listening to music is the best way to continue it🎼!!
