this is what we’re playing for the spring concert. This music is truly amazing and it’s giving like a last day at school type of music or like something that’s in a movie type
Played this at the beginning of the year, 8th grade, 1st clarinet, 10/10 would recommend to all levels of musicians, difficulty matters not in this piece, only groovee-ness.
We're currently playing this in my school. My band teacher taught us the "groove" part (0:39) as a whole band before our part of the "groove" comes in. I even heard some higher grades play the piece before, I searched up this RUclips video like about almost 2 years ago, and now here I am playing this masterpiece. Gosh, time flies too fast. I hope I enjoy this song before the school year ends, and I know I will.
@@bigjuggie_ it does. I think it's because I didn't clean my clarinet I'm gonna do that soon my mouth piece had mold so I had to get a new one it's a nightmare. Just like Redstone in minecraft
I know how to play it and clarinet isn't even my instrument, I'm also aware of how to play the full clarinet groove on trombone even tho I'm not supposed to
yAAAAy! remember playing this song last year! person playing xylophone couldn't keep up with tempo tho, lol. still love this song, gives off good vibes.
@@Abokenzah I think I would've started crying bc you have to learn other songs so playing xylophone then dropping the sticks to pick up new ones with an entirely different part in a matter of seconds is stressful for me lol
We played this at All District Honor Band in Central Indiana and I, as a sax player, can say that this song was a ABSOLUTE BANGER when we performed it. Songs sound so good when you select good players for it. edit: they selected it again
I'm currently learning this song in my band class and I'm the lucky percussionist who got tambourine. Playing tambourine has been my thing and the other usual player can't count so I'm glad I got the part lol
My band teacher sees me as the best clarinet in the band out of me and... The other clarinet. But that's because I play in marching band, and playing this song in my concert is something I've yet to do, but I am excited! Just wanted to brag about the clarinet part tho lol
I actually had the composer of this song come and direct my band it was super cool and he had really good tips for us (I’m a clarinet btw) we played this song like 6 months before he came to direct us.
so reading the comments, people are saying this is an awesome piece, one word from me though….. as a flute, I have some passive aggression from playing the same note on repeat for 18+ measures (listen at 41, you’ll here it) but other then that, yeah it’s a great piece
we just got this piece a couple of days and even though the baritone is low brass and barely ever plays the hard parts, this still seems really hard. its still hard to do fortissimo, how do they expect me to go fortississimo??
Only band kids know what this is, and only band kids remember how epic playing this song was.
Fr it’s so fun but the other band is so bad we can’t preform it until April 😭
7th grade band
@@M0chii127I found my alt account 😨
True. I remember playing this. It was so fun.
@@Doghousecrafts92833 im a flute and when I saw the part with the high notes I think I actually cried

Cool thanks so much for the update
idk why but every time I hear the rock out part I just wanna stand up on my chair and play it

Playing this for spring concert, lol Tambourine.

props to that one xylophone player that had the metronome beat the entire time.
I wish my band played this at this tempo. We play it so slow, it’s sad :(

Back in 6th grade playing the clarinet 1 part was a total nightmare. I hated those high notes.
this song is facts though
Me trying my best as a trumpet to count more than 20 measures of rests (usually trumpets don't have much resting time so this is weird for me)
bro i swear to god the very beginning of the song sounds exactly like the band song "Pulsation"
Playing tuba for this lol, i don't get many 'good parts'
It’s giving crab rave vibes with the beginning
