    Hello ladies. If your hearing Lisa’s testimony fir the first time then it may sound crazy. 9 years ago I was taking care of my great nephew 50 hours a week. I’m 56 now. Let me tell you I had zero energy and bad joint pain. Fast forward to today Im a nanny to three kids under 6 and I’m carnivore. I have more energy than ever in my life. I feel better at 56 than I did at 30. I have IBS and gluten sensitivity. I could gain 8lbs of water weight overnight. Carnivore has changed my life. Down 30lbs and I’ve got 30lbs to go to my goal weight. I carry a 30lbs baby up and down two flights of stairs numerous times a day with no pain and I don’t feel shaky, or scared to fall. Find your way to health and start living!!!!!

    I have been following you since you started carnivore and you have inspired me. I can’t say that I’m a clean carnivore eater. I’m a dirty carnivore, but I to this day rather eat meat eggs, fish, chicken cheese, then a salad. And it’s because of my love for carnivore. No I haven’t received the results that you have received but I didn’t have any issues like you had medically speaking. I’m still on my carnivore journey and I go up and down, but I don’t think I’m going to steer far from this way of eating. And I owe it all to you, Lisa! If it wasn’t for carnivore, I don’t know that I’d be following you to be honest with you. I mean, I love everything that you post but it was the carnivore that pulled me in and your success story. Love you. Ciao for now Vita Maria

    I don’t eat carnivore, but agree you have to find what works for you. I’ve lost 30 pounds eating vegan, and it’s the first time eating has been so easy. The only issue I have is you kind of need to eat a ton of food since veg and fruit are so low in calorie density. My former binge eater friends think it’s great though! Lol Anyway my joint pain from RA is so much better. The hip pain you complained about is almost surely a menopause-induced bursitis. It’s common, and I had it too before switching to vegan. It was sooo painful! I would suggest you get a CT score and liver enzyme tests when eating carnivore, as neither of those things will have symptoms and the effects are huge. Just sharing thoughts - I’ve never had IBS, so I’m so happy you finally found relief through your diet!

    Carnivore a great diet for a reset in your body, loose excess weight or if have other auto immune, skin, gut issues. Once the gut is healed many people can eat fruit, low oxcilate veggies (cucumber, potatoes cooked well, squash) eggs, wild fish, real sour dough bread, raw dairy and some honey. Beef and lamb are best choice on carnivore due to multiple stomachs to digest their food and in turn make the meat optimally healthy for consumption. If a women is super active the carbs can help out thyroid etc. Avoid processed carbs, vegetable oil (fried foods, salad dressings, canola oil based spreads, eating out nearly every restaurant no matter how healthy the food uses soybean and canola oil) and processed sugar and many people would be better off.

    Hi Lisa I’m down 47lb since 2020 and kept it off ! I stopped alcohol, refined carbs ( bread, pasta, rice etc) sugar !! Vitamin D with K2 and cod liver oil with glucosamine have really helped me with joint pain etc. I’m 60 years old and feel amazing, 120lb now. I’m not carnivore as I don’t have a digestive issue. However I do have high cholesterol ( docs think genetic ) I’m waiting for a test, over a year here in the UK 😫 docs want me on statins and I’m refusing as I feel so good. Like you say know your own body and stick to what you believe 😊 wish me luck I’m in for a battle I think ☹️

    • @makeuplover6852
      @makeuplover6852 Месяц назад +1

      Make sure you get the FULL picture on your cholesterol... here in Canada and the US - I suspect likely the same in the UK - docs typically only look at one measurement of your cholesterol which WILL be high if you are eating lots of red meat, or good fats like eggs and avocado, BUT there is "good" and "bad" cholesterol numbers, they must be looked at in conjunction and then if the good # is really high (like it always is in Lisa's bloodwork that she has shared in other vids) then it counters the "bad" cholesterol, dr's are SO quick to push statins which are absolutely dreadful for our bodies. So read up on the two types of cholesterol and go into your appointment knowing you want to see BOTH those numbers and know how to look at them and read the outcome from the two numbers.

    I completely relate to what you were saying at the end…. Aligning with who I already am 😊. Fellow Virgo, love a routine. I started Carnivore last October (that’s how I found you!). The first week I was losing weight, and that’s not what I was looking for, no way around it, it will definitely happen. I started for joint pain and inflammation. Within two weeks, there was a HUGE difference!! I started HRT almost three weeks after , so it had to be the Carnivore that made the change. I was eating salad and fruit every single day and considered my self a healthy eater and already exercised. Something had to change. I didn’t have anxiety around food, however I had decision paralysis. ALWAYS the last to order at any restaurant, now I can be the first 😂.

    That’s amazing that carnivore has worked so great for you. I started whole30 about 6 years ago, eliminated sugar (one of the biggest culprits) and bread, and all the crappy preservatives they put in everything. It’s been the best thing ever! I eat very clean. Mostly organic vegetables and fruit and lots of healthy proteins. Wild caught salmon, hormone-free etc meats (whenever possible) I know what I can and cannot eat and how they will affect me. It’s been a great journey and at 59 I feel so great! What you eat definitely matters! I’m very energetic and yes I also use HRT!

    I am the same way prefer to eat the same thing near the same time each day! I had done Atkins in the past and started Keto in January 2020 and I agree lockdown worked in my favor too because we still went out on the weekends for dinner but so much easier not to even go out and smell temptation 😂it’s so true once sugar is out of your system it makes you feel so sick if you even take a bite there is nothing that I want to eat so badly that makes me feel awful I’ll take feeling good over that any day!! You have done a complete 360 and I couldn’t be happier for you!! 😘

    At 53 and feeling the body joint aches, low energy etc., I’m intrigued by all of the reported positive affects of being on a carnivore diet. However, for pretty much my whole life I’ve weighed around 125 lbs. I’m 5’7 tall and honestly I can’t really afford to lose any weight. My doctor told me that I’m on the low end of my BMI and if anything I could stand to gain some weight. Does a carnivore diet cause everyone to lose weight? I don’t want to lose any.

    OMG Lisa! When you said the low iron… I just went to my PCP because I have been super tired lately and not sure why. Well the did blood work while I was there. They called me and told me that hemoglobin was low. That I had anemia due to low iron and put me on an iron pill. I have never had low iron, but then again I stopped taking my multivitamins I guess a year ago. But anyway I have to have bloodwork done again in 3 months. Hopefully these iron pills kicks in soon cause I am not used to being this tired😱😱

      Hi, you brought back memories of taking iron pills. There are different reasons mine was due to extreme heavy cycles.They do tend to make you extremely bloated though I was up to 3pills daily way back before my partial hysterectomy. Here’s the tips I wish I had known. Do not take 2 hours of consuming caffeine or grains they will not absorb as well. Enjoy that red meat and leafy greens and please Drink your water you’ll need it!

    Many health benefits you gain are from not consuming refined foods and sugar. You get all the benefits and more eating whole foods plant exclusive . I couldn’t let my diet cause so much suffering for animals as well as damaging the environment. You can loose weight in many unhealthy ways ( drugs etc) but in the long run is it sustainable, kind for you and all creation. If you are a Christian the Bible shows us our original perfect diet in the Garden of Eden, also the story of Danial eating plants not the rich animal diet of the King. The truth never changes.

Feeling so much better getting the joint pain gone! I have a statement and a question. My daddy was 10 years older than my mother and they were married 43 years until he passed away at age 72. Question, how tall are you? And you look absolutely wonderful those bikinis. Kudos to you!

    I’m not carnivore but I can attest to finding what is right for you in your 50s as being the key to living healthily for as long as possible. My right is more plant based, but experiment until you find your sweet spot. I have been incredibly lucky in managing without HRT at 62. But again whatever is right for you.
