When you have a tiny kitchen like that I can't help but imagine that the sim has other people cook for them. This whole house has the vibe of a rich sim who doesnt live in their home simply has their staff take care of their children and cat.
oh my god so true like this house would probably be in brindleton bay right nearby the beach and they would live in that giant mansion next to it and go to the beach house when they want to feel "poor" and quirky and do arts lmao
That could be like a studio. The parents take their kids with them to work. The laundry is just used for washing the aprons from the painting and the kitchen just for a quick snack. The cat is a bonus.😊
I would have put a Murphey bed in the office (like have a conversation area with the Murphey bed and a chair or something) and if the bedroom was rolled later then it would have just been a guest room but for simsie it would have ended up being the parents bedroom
That’s what I was thinking, or place a bed in the nursery and do it with the idea that it’s the parents’ first baby and they really don’t want to leave their child alone.
Please do more of these builds! (Also could you please do a chaotic wheel spin where you spin for the color, price, room type, AND size for maximum chaos. Example: A Hot Pink 7x3 Kitchen where you can only spend 4827 simoleons)
I agree... the chaos of the wheel helps push you out of your comfort zone and even though they are strange, I much prefer these builds to the comfort zone ones🤷🏻♀️

A fun variant on this could be if you need to place the rooms according to a preset list no matter what you roll. So say the first room would be the hallway location, if you spin toilet then the house entrance also has to be the toilet room. This'd also help you make the house a normal shape since it'd be pre planned!
Okay but I'm just imagining that the cat sim was once a full on sim that made a deal with a spellcaster. The Sims end of the bargain is they would give the spellcaster their first born child. When the twins were born the sim didn't want to part with their children so the spellcaster turned them into a cat as punishment. Cat parent gets by as a freelance artist.
5:21 There’s an obvious cut in the middle of the spin for the kitchen budget. Maybe some kind of hiccup, but probably during a spin is not a good place for edits as it can potentially lead people to think that the results might actually be manufactured rather than down to chance, especially since the wheel appeared to slow before the cut and somehow was going much faster again after it.
Should do a challenge of just the premade rooms. You're allowed to move stuff and add things but you have to keep all the items and you can't touch the walls.
I remember when I first discovered your channel and binge watched all of your challenge videos, they’re one of my faves! So happy they’re back, so entertaining to watch 🥰

lil simsie is easily the best creator on this app. I love being able to turn her videos on and clean or shower… maybe I’m a tablet kid but she keeps me healthy. feels like a friend
I think a challenge where both room size and budget scale would be cool. Like the first room you must build is a 2x2 for $2000, the second is a 3×3 for $3000, etc. And you have to spend as close to every simoleon as you can. I know Smsie has done similar challenges but I think merging them into one like this would be interesting!
I would have done, with those options: A nursery with a live in nanny section with a bed, partially divided by a wall so it's technically the same room A grand hallway with a double staircase, nice paintings, fancy place for coats, mirrors, stained glass windows, entry ottomans/waiting couches, maybe some kind of feature like an aquarium or bookshelves Kitchen, I wouldn't have done anything different from you! Office, I would have kept the window and made a courtyard so there would be natural light. That window would still overlook a wall, but there could be wall plants put in its view. I really like what you did. In mine I'd do an armchair too so it could be used for business meetings or as a therapist's office. Your art studio was good, love all the windows. I'd have made it even bigger and added a couch for life modelling, with a tapestry on the wall behind perhaps. And lots of plants. The rest, I wouldn't have done much different from you. The roof, I would have added columns so fewer roof pieces would be needed. I enjoyed this, thank you!

Good thinking sneaking a toilet in the laundry room. All you would need to make the house really functional is a Murphy bed in the office or cat room. So they live with an adult who's na workaholic programmer and artist, who's very rich, and always eats out or has food delivered or catered. So, they had no interest in a fancy kitchen and also always would wind up sleeping in the office anyway, so they converted what used to be a bedroom into the cat room.

I think a good wheel spin build challenge would be to spin for number of tiles and budget. So you could have to furnish a 10 tile room with like 5,000 simoleons but you could still ensure a bedroom/bathroom
Honestly, cute build! ... for a couple of unsupervised artistic babies and kitties 😅 I'd like to imagine their caretaker who has a home office and art studio is initially just a cat owner but stumbles upon twins left on their doorstep, so they renovated their own bedroom for those babies. The overworked artist would also be too busy to cook (if they're even too busy to sleep on their own bed) so the small kitchen is plausible. I have no idea how to justify no shower/tub though. You should definitely try this again but add another wheel for themes/build styles for more chaos :D
This was so much fun. I love the randomized challenges! I would love to see more, packs/styles/colors are kind of obvious but room size could also be neat.
