And actually you can make pretty good money by throwing parties. When you get gold on an incognito party, you get a 12000 simoleons jungle gym. It is kind of crazy!
simsie, you should do a total "self indulgent" build for the new year!! don't care about the gallery, the number of packs, the costs, just build whatever's most fun for yourself! you've had a long year, you shouldn't have to worry about everyone else at the very end of it

Often times she’ll do builds and uses a number of packs often times I don’t think looks at the cost, but it’s the challenge of it all.I do think she does enjoy doing things like this at the end of it.
2024 has had SUCH good packs; crystal creations is my number one staple for fancy builds; every single infant uses the story book nursury crib; and most recently life and death has had so many swatches in my faviorate color! (emerald green)

I absolutely adore this build!! It is so different from what you'd normally make and I love all the colors and tiles going together!! I always love to see you build a little out of your comfort zone and this just looks so cute!!!!!

(Around 03:00-05:00-ish) So far this house reminds me soooo much of the sims 2 in terms of ascetic and lay out etc. It is very reminiscent of the 2000’s sims 2 houses you could find like around Don Latario’s house back in the day. Especially with that terracotta tile and carpet in the bedroom
the primary bedroom is giving "what if the golden girls were witches" and I wouldn't have put those things together myself but I'm glad someone else did because it's a fantastic vibe
I wish the Sims had consistent colour swatches. A true black a true white and then update those swatches across every the entire game. Almost all the different packs/kits have black, grey and white swatches but not all of them match each other is wild
As Sims players, we have the most random favourite things. A favourite low lying plant, a favourite circular rug-specifically circular!- maybe our favourite gravestone....

I love every build that isn't a speedbuild because I can't watch speedbuilds and every time I see a good build and I start watching it, just to find out I can't because it's a speedbuild, I am devastated. So I am very happy that this one isn't

I will say, though knowing EA it’s going to take some deep breath on your part because some of those early packs…??? Yes, some of those early packs… We’ve been spoiled quite recently with some lovely bill items and yeah, that might be a very tall order! But I have all the faith in the world that you of all people can make something wonderful because you seem to make everything look so damn easy!
With the 2 new worlds this year alone, I wish lilsimsie does a tier/rank list of all the worlds. Personally, worlds have become my biggest consideration when figuring out which pack to buy next, so it'd be really useful to see the opinion of someone who has all the worlds already.

This is inspiring me to try to use the castle kit for an estate in Ciudad Enamorada. There was a gorgeous house for sale in Coyoacan recently that was over-the-top colonial with lots of stained glass and stone pillars and greenery. Don't know if it's possible to recreate, but now I want to try!
Honestly I haven’t been able to play the sims 4 in like 2 years because of my old broken laptop but this is making me feel fine about missing out because of how much stuff there is for me to save money on lol The off the grid series is giving me MAD FOMO though 😢
it would be cool if you picked a group of packs like this and did the challenge of “one thing from every pack” BUT from separately on build and buy. like you have to use one thing in build mode (wallpaper, fences, doors etc) AND THEN you have to pick one more thing from buy mode!

The green loveseat in Crystal creations is one of my favorites and I wish we had more things in that color
