The ones you think you are hearing,.. Billie Holiday, Amy Whinehouse,... they are all there in the way she is singing.

At the beginning you see her something writing on a sheet and a man reading it and smiles than.. in an interview this man, who was the "bandleader", said, this were some "wishes" from Angelina (she was every time very polite he said) for changes of her arrangement for the piano :)))
The candle you can see at about 0:12 shows a portrait of J. Hawkins - I think her grandma bought it at a concert in Tokyo ;)
At 0:26 you can see the bassist smiling - I can imagine that he smiles about the expectable reactions of the listeners in the moment, when Angelina starts to sing at 0:30 ;-)
Btw. I read somewhere that her grandma was in person at a concert of SJH in Japan (as she, AJs mother and uncle lived there some years - AJs grandpa is Japanese) and there AJs grandma bought this candle as a souvenir ;)

In addition to school she got also vocal training at the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts after-school program (I read, that this school said, they couldn't teach her more stuff because she has all learned what she could learn in this school ;-) ) - and btw. she plays also grand piano, violin, flute and guitar, make her arrangements herself, wrote a book, sew clothes for herself (partly with art from her grandma like in her first AGT performance and in her music video "Shield").

I’m not gonna say no more but she moved there when she was 10 to do further her career and her whole family mood with her from our way to California if you look, you’ll see that she’s in Los Angeles California working Republic records, Stargate, dynamic producers, Norwegian they produce all the music and republic records. This was a demo that Angelina was asked to record by Brandon Lowry (BabyFuZz) before he released his song. His friends had suggested that Angelina should be asked to sing it. Because of the subject of suicide, as featured in it, he parents didn't want the demo to go any further. While the demo was recorded when she was 10 years old, someone with access to it leaked it 2 years later. Had the unnamed "leaker" not shared her demo, the world would have missed out on this work of art. The fan video itself was also masterfully done, so hats off to him/her as well.
Baby Fuzz is quoted as saying he was unaware of Angelina’s recording. The song was written by Baby Fuzz and the team who helped Angelina write her song ‘Shield’. Makes sense the other writers had the backing track and asked her to record this without his knowledge.
There’s no real evidence out in the public domain that explains for sure why it was never released. It may just as easily have been her mother and uncle realized this would launch her before she was old enough. And it could just have likely been that they didn’t own the rights to the song and couldn’t have released it if they wanted too.
Any of the explanations out there are pure speculation.
You got all that from searching RUclips and the internet? Sorry, but I’ve been following Angelina for a long time, and there is nothing to support your version. The reality is that Baby Fuzz also made a demo for this song, but it did not get any interest, so he used his demo and released it as the official version, so you would not have any idea when he made his demo in relation to when Angelina made this demo! And the subject of suicide couldn’t even possibly been the reason that Angelina didn’t acquire the rights to the song herself, she has sung several songs which referred to suicide, and if the lyrics of a song crossed the line, then her mother made her rewrite the lyrics, see “Back to Black” and other Amy Winehouse songs that Angelina has sung, even “I’m a Fool to Want You” is about drug use, the way Billie Holiday sang it, and there was no stopping her from singing that song, and get real, once an artist acquires the rights to a song they are free to change it in any way they wish, but they still credit the original artist who wrote the song.
The more probable reason is that Angelina was working on her own original song, “Shield”, at the same time when she did this demo with some of the same people that were working with Baby Fuzz, and I’m sure that at the time it didn’t even hit her radar, it wasn’t until it was leaked that is became what it is today, and who knows, Angelina and Republic Records could still acquire the rights to the song and produce a cover version, which given the overwhelming interest the song would chart, especially with Rob Christie as the producer!
Great reaction to a vocal tour-de-force! You're in over your head with her!! You have fallen into the vortex of Angelina Jordan who arguably brings the most confident, versatile, seemingly effortless, and fearless vocal artistry found today (whether measured across artists, genres, or decades). You may think this an exaggeration but listen to a few more of her many performances (160+ covers plus original songs - all on YT) and you will see! She has been performing at a high level all over the world since age 8 when she won Norway's Got Talent singing Billie Holiday, Nancy Sinatra, and Gershwin. It is the rare singer that can, as Angelina has done, go from Queen to "Screamin" Jay Hawkins to Adele to Elvis to Whitney Houston to Michael Jackson to Etta James to James Brown to Amy Winehouse to the Beatles (and many others in between) and do them all justice!
If you want to hear music, listen to anyone. If you want to feel music, listen to Angelina. She will stagger you with her ability to find and bring forth the 'essence', the emotional message of nearly any song. You have far to go with Angelina. She is equally comfortable and equally able to impact us whether singing a cappella, accompanied only by a piano or guitar, in front of professional studio musicians or a 40-piece military band. Angelina was 10 in this recording. She turned 17 in January and her new album is being released in April I believe. There was talk of a tour but not necessarily before the album release. I’m assuming a tour would follow the release to promote the album.

- Who is Angelina Jordan -
Angelina is a Norwegian born child prodigy in music. She's a singer/ songwriter who's arranged over 180 covers and 5 originals, all since the age of 7. Angelina began singing at 18 months old. At 2, she began teaching herself how to sing, focusing primarily on the jazz masters of decades gone by. These are artists such as Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, and Etta James. She's also influenced by Amy Winehouse, Frank Sinatra, Whitney Houston, and Adele, to name a few. She's also been said to be the girl of 1,000 voices. Yet even though we can hear the phrasing and style she puts in the songs, it's always Angelina that we hear.
At 7 years old, she auditioned for Norway's Got Talent. She was the last to audition. The judges had no idea who she was or what she could do. They saw a diminutive mussy haired, barefooted girl with her teeth still growing in. For her audition, she performed "Gloomy Sunday" from Billie Holiday. On TV-2, they've reported over 14 million views of this performance. This does not take into account the many hundreds of reactors showing this audition to millions more.
Needless to say, Angelina went on to win the 2014 season of NGT shortly after her 8th birthday. The family was bombarded with requests for performances, interviews, and record label offers. They turned down 90% of the requests, as they insisted that Angelina should enjoy a normal childhood.
That didn't stop Angelina from performing at select engagements around the world, singing for Heads of State, and even Barack Obama. She's spent time and worked with musicians such as Quincy Jones and Alan Walker. She first appeared on American television, The View, at 8 years old.
Angelina auditioned for America's Got Talent The Champions at 13 years old. She made it just up to the final selection of the final 5 when she dropped from the competition. It wasn't that she wasn't good enough to be in the final 5, but it was because she refused to sign with an AGT affiliated label, should she win. She knew very well what production hungry labels could do to her music. She even turned down Disney.
At 14, Angelina signed with Republic Records. Republic gave her complete artistic control as well as control over the performances she would make. Angelina is now 16 and lives in LA. She turned 17 on January 10, 2023, and will graduate from high school after the spring semester. From then on, she will embark on her full-time professional career. She's been working closely with Republic on her first album under their label. It's likely that it will drop shortly after her graduation.

Angelina won Norway's Got Talent when she was 8 yrs old after starting the competition at 7 yrs old. The youngest winner of any Got Talent show on the planet. She had to wait two years because you had to be 7 yrs old to enter. She started with a rendition of Billie Holiday's 'Gloomy Sunday' which she just infused with Billie's soul. She followed this by another Billie classic with a pitch perfect rendition of 'I'm a Fool to Want You' acapella. Her next performance was a beautiful rendition of 'Bang, Bang' by Sonny & Cher and performed most famously by Nancy Sinatra. She won the competition with what I consider her first Masterpiece performance of 'Summertime' by George Gershwin. Shortly after winning she was designated a National Treasure by the Norwegian people. ♥👣👸🏻
There is video of Angelina recorded by her mother Sarah Astar singing a couple of lines of "I Will Always Love You' by Whitney Houston when she was 18 months old. She started studying all the greats of Jazz soon after under the guidance of her Iranian Grandmother Mery Zamani a child prodigy in her own right as an artist and poet. English is Angelina's 3rd language behind Norwegian and Farsi along with Japanese and some German and perhaps more. She did this from 2 & 3 yrs old by scrolling thru RUclips of all their most Iconic performance. Angelina doesn't just mimic these greats, she reinterprets them and then simply sings them the way they were meant to be sung. She makes them her own.
Angelina was begging her mother to go on "that Simon show" when she was 3 yrs old. encouraged to sing children songs, she would have none of that. She will sing anything Acapella at any time and often does. She is well known worldwide in the industry. Her family and Angelina have been holding back turning down many of the biggest in the industry while she finishes school. Remember she just turned 17 January 10th. They finally signed with Republic Records about three years ago after getting a deal that gave her control of her artistic vision and has since released 2 originals, 'Million Miles' & '7th Heaven' plus a soundtrack for the New Movie "The Hating Game" which opens with her song 'Mercy' performed most notably by Duffy. Republic has labeled her their Highest Priority and assigned a team to her including Rob Christy a multiple Grammy Winner, often on the piano in many of her performances and a whole team of equally qualified professionals. She has worked with some of the best musicians in the industry and always get exactly what she wants. They call her the Boss and have immense respect for her. She is due to release her 1st album promised by Angelin to be soon.
She has been diligently perfecting her craft since winning Norway's Got Talent singing all over the world, Germany, Japan, Korea as well as TV appearances such as The View, Little Big Shots and most notably America's Got Talent where she premiered her Iconic Performance of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' which Queen gave her the rights to record her own version available on ITunes and Spotify included on her Album 'Magic' which she released on her own along with a Christmas Song collection. Welcome to the Music World of Angelina Jordan who has over 185 songs which includes to me 9 Originals! 5 Composed by her with help and 2 written for her voice at 13, "Above The Water" and "A Song For A". 1 was a Demo she recorded at age 10 and was leaked at age 12 before Baby Fuzz released his version using her arrangement. Listening to the ‘We’re The Best’ lyrics, I find a different message given between the lines RedOne sings and those Angelina sings. I am suspect that she wrote/rewrote the lines that she sang solo.
