I appreciate having the lyrics to read. I get it. Facing the giants in our minds that want to chain us down. I'm 74, I've listen to the greats Etta James, Ella, Pearl, Diana Washington, Nat King Cole, Sinatra and so many more jazz, and folk and blues have kept me company since I was 3 way back in 51. Angelina, for me, is at the top rung of the ladder.

Indeed. Very balanced but positive messages from her. A little deep and profound, and very wise. She knows life is tough and our biggest battle is within, knows to face that head on. Clearly a very emotionally intelligent kid, the songwriting is insanely promising given she was 14 at most Co writing her last two, and 12 at most the previous 2. Very good without the context of age as well. The voice and skills isn't even what matters with her, as incredible as her tools and skills are, there are bigger reasons to love that kid, that really fit her lyrics and message.
I'm 72 now and came across Angelina's Norway's Got Talent performances a few years ago. I was in a sad place because I wasn't able to see two of my granddaughters (who I had been helping to raise) for a couple of years. For me, Angelina held that place in my heart until the girls returned. She doesn't know me, but I feel like a grandmother to her. She is an incredible person with an entirely unique talent.

Yeah, I’m in my seventies too, and Angelina is absolutely the best singer I’ve ever heard. I listen to the 50’s and 60’s channel on Sirius because “modern” music (mid 1970’s and later) has very little I want to listen to. Angelina appeals to us older people because she can sing anything beautifully, and she exudes class and restraint. She can be easily compared to many of the great female singers, but none of them cover the musical territory Angelina does. Jazz, ballads, blues, soul, pop, r&b, and even some c&w-all with her signature style and vocals. I’ve never heard any singer that I wanted to hear everyday until I discovered Angelina about five years ago. Honestly, I can’t remember the last day I did not listen to Angelina sing. I’ve heard many of her songs hundreds of time.
The best comment I ever read about her: “Angelina’s voice is like a drug.” And I’m hooked. I’m addicted.

This is the first version of 7th Heaven I saw. Love it best and it is the fun in the kitchen that makes it special. As a song it is fantastic with all the jazz elements and Miss A's incredible stylings.

Hi Sebs, I do that alot with angelina songs. Cuz she changes words combines words and shortens words to fit in a verse correctly shes a genius. In her song summertime I first listened to it she tryed to do it with a southern accent and the part where they say the cotton is so high, Angelina says the curtin is sigh tryin to be southern about it. I kept asking myself, What is she saying ? that dont make any sense. The curtin is sigh ? Then I looked up the lyrics to summertime and it was the cotton is so high. Thats very smart on her part to combine the two words to sigh to save time. I could never do that with norwegin words yet she doesnt blink an eye about doing it in english like that. shes so musicly smart about things it blows my mind. I have never seen any adult with her music smarts as of yet and Im 66 YO, Dolly Parton has always been the smartest person I know in music and probaly still is. Love the song and the video. I don't know if you noticed but the waitress banged on the pans in sync with the drums. There's one line in the song that really brings the whole theme out "I see myself in the mirror. I wanna love the person looking back at me." If there is such a thing as a perfect line, that is it.

That girl is a wonderful talent, but certainly comparable to other gems that have appeared lately. We have already learned that from that group, the best in the world is the one that her devotees write about after listening to her. It is the same with Morissette Amon, Aurora, Diana Ankudinova, Lucy Thomas and others. Yes, they sing beautifully and it is up to their fans to declare them the best in the world. But the best is still alive and still singing. Whether any of these will reach her remains to be seen. Of course it is about Sissel Kyrkjebø, a Norwegian mega star, but a very humble and lovely person. Give yourself some effort and listen to this miracle on this planet. We humans have a habit of quickly writing off those who until recently were wonders of the world and how we didn't call them all those slightly older singers.

Wouldn't it have been nice IF she sang this song with, say HARRY CONNICK JR.??? That's what she really needs to do. She needs to collaborate with and learn from legends that are still ALIVE. The exposure wouldn't hurt either. Singing on TicToc and underground garages is ok, but it would be nice to meet the living legends of the eras she so cherishes(Jazz, Blues, Big Band, etc.) After Quincy, no one seems interested or her uncle isn't connecting.
