    This is AMAZING and super helpful. Thank you.
    One thing I would like to add to it is to look for nontoxic products, especially in paints and in varnishes. Also, when buying products, even as something innocent as brushes, read the labels. The other day I was buying some brushes. They looked super. then, I turned the packaging over and was stunned to find a WARNING about them being hazardous/cancer causing. I never thought that something as basic, as simple as a paint brush would be toxic. But, there it was.
    Also, it is a very good idea, when possible to apply varnish outside or at least in a well-ventilated areas because we do inhale the fumes, even the ones that seem unnoticeable and in the long run, this can affect our health, especially when doing a lot of these projects.

    I have a question about the drying time of the Heavy Duty Wood Varnish. How long do you usually wait before applying layers? I've used the Decorators Varnish but it has remained tacky. I suspect I didn't wait long enough between layers, even though that dries very quickly. I also wonder if the glue layer underneath may have affected it too. I have ordered the Heavy Duty now but I do not want to waste it, so any further tips would be so appreciated. Thank you for such a great video! So much information presented in such a friendly, unpretentious manner. 🤩

      I usually apply as soon as it’s touch dry. Decorators varnish stays tacky no matter what you do, heavy duty one won’t be tacky :)

    Very interesting information. Thank you. I'm sure you've noticed that your cover page of 'Piants' was misspelled. I just thought you'd like to fix that.

    • @IvetaZiedina
      @IvetaZiedina  4 года назад +2

      Hello, I didn't notice that, it is a bit late now as the only way to fix it is to re- upload the whole video but thank you for letting me know! :)

      @@IvetaZiedina I adore you, your artistic style and your thorough and easy-to-follow craft tutorials- have to chime in on another spelling correction as well, the cover page for "decoupage paper" was spelled incorrectly too- but I still adore you of course knew exactly what you meant : )

      Shame that that's what you both pick up on, something as bloody trivial as spelling mistakes, lets see Dainty Gifts come round to your house and rip your bloody attempt at decoupage apart eh!
