Great review. I waited 15 months for mine. Ordered a 23 Lariat in Sept 2022 and got converted to a 24 at additional cost, came in Dec 2023. Mileage avg 44.5 mpg.
I have been waiting for over 530 days for a Maverick XL. This is longer than I have ever waited to get a new vehicle. Not everyone needs the luxury of the Lariat. Evidently Ford produces the more expensive trucks first.
@@ScoutsOut Plus they constrained many common parts, like tow hitches, tires, etc. Originally ordered a hybrid and changed to Ecoboost at Ford's request and still couldn't get a truck. At least it is now in transit.
They limit the XL to 23% of retail orders but it's 64% of the orders that haven't been produced yet. They will turn around pretty quick on the higher trims at this point but the XL is still backed up because they just don't want to make that many of them. I was lucky enough to get one off the lot at MSRP though, but I had been watching for months.
@@krtwood I am well aware of the crazy allocation system that Ford has. It is unfair to many customers that live in small rural areas. It rewards the mega dealerships, but hurts the small ones!
The Mav is 11" WIDER than the first gen Ranger. I was SO hoping my new Mav would be as narrow as the old Ranger to help us squeeze down tight brush lined trails or betwix a couple of trees back in the forest. My BIL waited 2 years to get his Mav. I'm guessing whenever his truck came in @ his dealership, the dirty bastard dealer sold his truck for over sticker to whatever sucker would go for that price. I had almost given up and was checking my local dealer website to see if he might have a USED Mav and found he had a 24 TREMOR XLT in transit. We got on the phone and made it ours. !
copilot 360, snd XLT LUXURY PACKAGES, i have the one and it has all options the we use. Just braking issues i still have, something still hit me in bottom when im braking, they they fix one time. Let me know about ENGINE ACCELERATION, I have the issue and it scares me 😮.
@ScoutsOut Well, it does it from time to time, usually in the morning, AND WITHOUT GIVING IT GAS it accelerates as if you put your foot on the gas pedal to the bottom. Scared me, but I went to a dealer and they didn't find anything yet.
I have a ford maverick XLT tremor 2023 luxury package and the lane keeping doesn’t really do anything.Otherwise,I love it but I did pay around $50,000.

Keep updating your channel. I ordered an xL but after a year and a half waiting one day I just stopped by my dealership and asked for my non refundable deposit back and they cut me a check. I bought a Chrysler AWD minivan instead and it does the job. After I think another 13 payments, I’ll be in the market for this truck again. I’ll keep watching to see how your situation goes. Thanks
Why another review on the maverick ? Same as the 2022 and 2023 models, there were no upgrades, just a waste of time until new refreshed model comes out !

Oh dang, I haven’t felt an acceleration issue while driving yet, what is yours doing?

What about larger gas tank for the 24 XL . Is that possible putting an extra one the bed ?
Yea you could put on in the bed, I’ve been getting 400+ per tank so I quite happy with that tbh
Im very interested to see if you can get a motorcycle in that bed. If not it can at least tow a motorcycle trailer with the non hybrid engine.

will do bro, I took it to the track yesterday and was able to get my bike and everything I needed in it and still got 39mpg lol on the way there!
