- I never realized the importance of Christian community until I joined the military. This is the most lonely I’ve ever felt. But at the same time I’ve never been this close to Jesus. This time in spiritual solitary has taught me so much. The Spirit doesn’t just move on Sunday’s at church or at worship conferences or Bible studies. He works ALL THE TIME!! No matter where you are, He. Is. Working. Whether you’re just taking a walk and praying or shouting worship songs in your room or praying for a stranger, the Lord is working and moving and making things new. There is no power like His. There is no love like His. He is eternal.

I really needed to hear this. I'm a few weeks out from BMT and have wondered this for the longest. I'm 18 and throughout my walk with Christ I have been persecuted, judged, etc for it. Throughout it all one quote I've held onto that's gave me more hope that I could have else wise in tough situations... "I shall stand with God and be judged by the world then stand with the world and be judged by God." I wish you all the bless and a fruitful time with your service!

This is crazy, I live outside of lackland, just moved here, I want to join the Air Force, I think god wants me to be the church in the military for people, maybe even deliver people, I just pray for guidance and hope I meet people like you while I’m in there, I don’t want to be alone, I want to do security forces, currently in processing, hopefully we’ll see each other at church who knows

I needed this. Im so glad that the Lord brought me here. I needed to watch this to know that my faith WILL be tested and that I need to cling to him and my faith. I literally was just scrolling through my home page and saw your BMT video (on another account) and I checked to see if you had more information on joining the air force and tech school, stuff like that. But I got something more important, a reminder of God, a warning, and an affirmation of my belief, less than 2 months from shipping out. God Bless You!

Thank you for sharing your testimony and your willingness to serve. I ship on 20 November for BCT. If God will have it, the desired outcome will be a commission in the Army Reserve at the ripe old age of 35. I noted a few things that touched my heart while watching your video.
1. You are precisely where you need to be. Though fellowship sustains our walk, God's assignment for you is to be a beacon of light for others. Let them see Christ through your words and conduct. You are an extension of the Gospel, and others will lean in when the timing is appropriate.
2. Through darkness, comes light. God works through every detail, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Even during moments of doubt and fear, our Heavenly Father works behind the scenes to mold you as a faithful and cheerful believer capable of encouraging others to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior.
3. Christians are never too far apart. God will maneuver us accordingly to ensure fellowship and camaraderie reach believers enduring a season of uncertainty and pain.
4. Lastly, your service in the Air Force has become your platform to grow as a Woman of God. Not only will you draw closer to the Lord during moments of glory, but duress. Remember, YOU are the church.
You hit the nail on the head. Loneliness and isolation are reminders to cry out to God and praise Him with vigor.
In the civilian world, I work in higher education and coach college softball. You remind me of my girls who go through the same struggle. They enter a new environment where temptation lurks, and they yearn for fellowship and wonder if God has abandoned them. I remind them constantly that the Holy Spirit resides within them, and they need not fear.

It definitely is difficult at times but it truly reminds you that God is all you need
@@faithwagner this explains why I have the supernatural urge to join the military even though I’ve been running from it. I have a hard time completing surrendering to God in every area of my life
@@Riceoncodm this literally was me. I felt like I had no other option but the military but I was running from it for so long. God is doing something here, not just in the Air Force but in all branches. Idk what He has in mind but it’s going to be something beautiful
