Just got done with SF tech school. In Malmstrom rn. Good to see you still uploading. Was watching your MEPS vids a while ago 👊🏻
Jeremiah 33:6 - Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them and reveal to them abundance of prosperity and security.
Thanks for this! I just got this job and leave for BMT on tuesday ❤
Congratulations on your new path! Thanks for sticking around and keeping us in the loop
Thank you for the support!!
So crazy, I have been watching your videos for prep on joining and had no idea you changed to 4n0 that’s the job I signed for and I leave for basic in 3 days!! Really appreciate your videos they make the process less stressful. Wishing you all the success in the world!
Basic will fly by. The quicker you accept your new life and listen to what the MTIs say, the better it will be. Goodluck!!
@@dylans7577 Thank you! :)
Thank you so much this was very helpful can’t wait to be. a 4n0 if I have any more questions I’ll be sure to ask
My husband is a camp bullis for SF
Should of done this instead of my dead end maintenance job
Aghhh my ideal job I’m trying to join at myself
It is a fairly easy job to get compared to most!! They have a new class every week so there’s rarely a shortage of openings
Ahhh thanks sm
Do you know what the required Aqft score is to get this job?
@@zairaxaltipa I think it’s like 50 or 60 something
My question is how long is the training after basic at lackland? Like how long is phase 1 and phase 2 all together?
Phase 1 is like 3 months and phase 2 is 6 weeks (all together a little over 4 months)
hey girl! i have been thinking about joining the air force and i want to enlist as a 4N0 & i hear that medical jobs dont ship as fast as other jobs. i was wondering how long were you in the DEP program
I actually came into the af with different job but 4N0 tech school has a new class literally every week so it shouldn’t be long at all!!
Can you skip ahead if you have an NREMT EMT-B already?
Yes!!
❤🎉😊
Is there any benefit from already being an EMT when you go in?
Yes, instead of phase 1 being 3 months it’s only 1. But it’s only if the cert is NREMT, not state. It’s nice too bc if you already have it you’re more knowledgeable in medical things and are more prepared for the job imo
Will you be able to sit for boards for your LPN license, if you wanted too ?
I believe they do have a program for it. I’m looking into it
@@faithwagner thank you, I can’t wait to see the video on it.
Hey there. Where is the second phase of training at?
There’s a bunch of different locations. Travis, wright patt, Elgin, Nellis, lackland, and Keesler are all the locations. You’ll find out after you pass EMT where you’ll go
Hey there! I've been interested in the Aerospace Medical Service field in the Air Force, but am already a certified EMT. Do you know how that may affect the training involved?
Yes!! So instead of your tech school being almost 4 months, you’ll skip past all the EMT stuff and it should only be just over 1 month
@@faithwagner Hey there! I just have one more quick question--- After getting through tech school, I've heard that this career is divided up into a number of different medical jobs. Aerospace Medical Service would be my top pick if I could work in a pre-hospital setting as a paramedic, which I've heard is one of the divisions. Do you get a say in what specific job you specialize in?
@@memyselfandi9012 so starting out everyone is just a med tech but eventually you can apply to the different shreds. Usually takes about a year before they’ll even consider you
@@faithwagner Hi Faith! Just watched your video, and loved it. My son is at BMT now, and will transition to 4N0 Tech School on 2/9/2024. He is already an EMT, so how does it work to skip those 3 months? Does he move to a different cohort when his cohort starts BLS and EMT? Any advice on who he should talk with about it? Thanks!
@@brandonrussell785 Thanks for watching! He’ll move into a new class after Anatomy/Physiology and BLS. The very first day the instructors will ask if anyone is an EMT and they’ll take care of the rest. That being said he’ll only get to advance if it’s national registry, not state. Best of luck to him!
Can you get your paramedic certificate in the Air Force ? Also thanks for posting this is really great explanation!!!
Yes!! Paramedic is a shred (a specialty kind of position) for 4Ns
