The end result reminds me of a mountain scape with a deep pool of rivers and lakes somewhere in the northwest US. I'm seeing fish in those blue waters, sunshine above. Enjoying nature.
As a new wood turner I appreciate seeing the happy accidents and how to roll with the punches. I had a piece break on the lathe and it got me down but I'm learning. Good job
Doug I just love your resin and wood bowl it is awesome and breathtakingly stunning. I love the foot that you always put on your bowl it make them magnificent.
Such a beautiful ,most majestic piece.Watching you create these unique works is so majestic . no sir I'm very sincere .thank you .its very beautiful 👍🌟😁☀️
The resin color with the see thru holes add a nice touch to the bowl. Love the finish. More bowls with resin would be great to see on upcoming videos. Thanks
You are to much of a professional that bowl is one of the coolest i have ever seen and all the "imperfections" are what make it more unique and cool. You could sell it like this for at list $100 dollars.
Just started watching your work I've watched about 4 to 5 videos so here's what I have to say Sir you are amazing you do amazing work very beautiful stuff just amazing keep it up
“The well laid plans of mice and men,” John Steinbeck. Despite what we envision, the art is the one in charge, oftentimes. It’s a beautiful bowl; I especially like the grain pattern on the outside, that splash of green, and the bug holes, too. Nice work.
Very nice bowl!! Your channel came up as a suggestion and I'm glad it did. I really like how you are honest and showed the mishaps that make turning what it is. SUBSCRIBED, I look forward to seeing more of your work!!
Je suis français débutant dans le tournage sur bois et j adore se que vous faites je ne comprends pas les paroles mes je comprends les images je vous lève mon chapeau bravo vous me donnez de bonne idée merci et à bientôt dans une nouvelle vidéo.
Thank You Jean, as long as you understand what I am doing the words mean nothing anyways. you learn as I did, by watching and then going out and trying it. good luck to you in your new hobby.
Greeting mate, another success love the colour. I quite like little flaws and bug holes makes things look more natural, well done keep smiling (nice T-shirt)
There is about 5 of you that upload at the same time one being Kim and you guys need to upload earlier so I am not up past Midnight every Thursday watching these as they come out. :p
That turned out AMAZING! Why point out all the (your perception) faults? I think it looks fantastic. Any faults in wood or resin just adds character to a piece. One Of A Kind, Baby!
New viewer and subscriber. Love your work. I live closer to Detroit in the suburbs, little wooded place me and my wife call home. Worked with wood all my adult life nearly, mainly carpentry and cabinetry, although I enjoyed being outside more.
The flaws and the resin looks like the ocean. I like the abundance of resin to woodgrain it makes for a special affect. 🍃🕊🍃
Thank You
Looks beautiful! Like the landscape of the Southwest, red canyons and blue skies
Thank you very much! yes I agree
The end result reminds me of a mountain scape with a deep pool of rivers and lakes somewhere in the northwest US. I'm seeing fish in those blue waters, sunshine above. Enjoying nature.

Looks a lot like a southwestern US scene with the landscape and rocks. Very cool!
Thank you Mark
That was exactly my thought, too!
As a new wood turner I appreciate seeing the happy accidents and how to roll with the punches. I had a piece break on the lathe and it got me down but I'm learning. Good job
Thank you Jacob, it's not a brake but a project modification, and they happen to everyone, unless it explodes you can usually fix them.
