Seems to me clerics should be primary themed support classes, so all the domains are fine but they should improve others in those realms rather than just be a version of the nearest class.

I think that the hunt domain cleric should focus on ranged weapons. You dont hunt with melee so the fact it gives heavy armor is extra weird and team wide hunters mark would be cool.

So far I'm loving these homebrew reactions, keep it up Ben!

I mean, Ben, I get your point on damage overcoming immunity and stuff, but your example couldn't be worse with the undead because it said right there that the feat EXCLUDES constructs and undead.

I was going through the transformation features provided in the Grim Hollow Transformation Guide, and noticed something that might be worded in an odd manner.
On page 44, the Gifts of Damnation - Contracts, the Gift of Expansive Knowledge states the following
"When you complete this contract for the first time, You must have a spell slot level equal to or greater than each of these spells. , you know these spells in addition to your total Spells Known"
I see two potential points where there might be difficulty interpreting the effects of this contract, which I attempted to highlight using < and >
1.) Regarding the spells, was this intended to be a number of spells equal to the Charisma modifier? So far, I have interpreted it as the spell level must equal your charisma modifier, the total levels must equal your charisma modifier, and the number of spells equals the charisma modifier, and that is even before considering whether or not the additional spells must come from the same spell list, or whether if should be left more open.
2.) Regarding the conditions under which the spells are known, how does it interact with Infernal Subcontractor found on page 81 of the Grim Hollow Player's guide, which permits the PC to benefit from two Contracts?
As a player and GM, I love the options provided, and would like to know if I'm missing something or reading too much into this Contract.

Is the Grim Hollow Monster Hunter 1.0 not released yet? I couldn't seem to find it. Really looking forward to it.

Would also love an update. Had a couple picks with the playtest, but thought it was brilliantly fun and interesting.
Very much looking forward to seeing more.

The Monster Hunter hasn't received a 1.0 release yet. We really appreciate everyone whose tried it, enjoyed it, and those that have provided their playtest feedback. It will definitely have an updated release in future, though we don't have a timeline yet on when or where.

Tying an ability to proficiency bonus does two things. It allows abilities earned at earlier levels to scale in a satisfying way and adds an extra perk to levelling, while also controlling people getting access to a class feature 4 times between rests at level 4 because they have WIS 18.
Another cheeky bonus is by not tying it to a characteristic, you’re allowing players to still use the feature even if they haven’t optimized their build.

I love these videos But I can't watch most of them do to the sound of the turning pages so comman in many of them. My aspergers symptoms causes the sound of the page turning to be very painful. With the videos that have lots of page turning sound effects I offten get about a 3'd of the way though the video before it hurts so much I have to stop. I hope that one day these sound effects will end. But if not I understand

Thank you for the feedback. We try to make the videos as engaging as possible while also being accessible for everyone. We'll consider some options to try making them easier to watch.

Please stop tying stuff to the proficiency bonus. It enables stuff to continue scaling even if you multiclass.
