AWWWWWWWWWWWWE man, finally the Pathy video I've been waiting for. Hated that we got stuck and didn't get the trans out together while is was there! But defiantly happy that you got it out and can't wait to see it back on the path again!
I am currently swapping my 94 Pathfinder with a 1995 JDM motor...I just finally got the Transfer Case out...this is the tuffest motor I've ever tried to remove...you are thee Man
merry christmas and a happy new transmission. it looks really tight under that pathfinder good lord. i have been putting off replacing a torque converter in my work truck but i dont think ill be able to complain as much as i was planning on after seeing this.
Is all the insulation in place? Check the firewall and make sure there are no holes or missing grommets. Check the heat shields around parts of the exhaust. I'm not familiar with these vehicles but that would be a good start. Check out the heater control valve if it's coming through the vents.
Man, I looked up Pathy project videos for some inspiration as I've complied a big intimidating list of things to check and work on for my WD21 and started watching your videos. Ironically, I'm in a similar situation - it is so hard to get motivated after getting to work on cars in a nice, equipped, spacious shop. I've got a tiny little shed with maybe 3 feet on each side of the truck to work around. Happy trails and Merry Christmas.
Yeah, I'm getting there...lol. Wasn't feeling real good for a couple weeks and getting down on the floor just wasn't something I was into. Getting close to done though. Just ordered a roof top tent for it. I'll get this ol bastard out there again soon! Thanks for watching!
Yeah, some just don't go well...this one...I was GLAD when it was over...but then the Mt Charleston incident destroyed it...wasn't meant to be from the beginning. I hesitated selling it when it broke...I should have.
So happy to see you still have her and your still wrenching and modifying. Wish I had the money to offer you for her. Still need to replace my totalled one from this year. Sad to hear about your Vette. BTW not all stones are dip poops. Keep on wrenching.
Sir, BIG UP for uploading this video. All the other folks, that were disrespectful to you, who cares big up. MECHANICS IS AlLL OF THE TIME you never goes as planned, BIG UP ONCE AGAIN, SIR. THABK YOU. Very Respectfully, Psychobenz84
I swapped my '94 Pathfinder transmission out earlier this year. Still doesn't work. It's been a heck of a truck but it might be time for me to let her go. On that note; Anyone with a WD21 Pathfinder in the SE USA that might be interested in another parts truck should hit me up. I have a nice truck with no rust, the factory brush guard and running boards, as well as nice 31x10.5 tires and lego wheels. Can't wait to see more of this build, as well as the future stuff!
Yeah...you can only take them so far sometimes. I had someone trying to sell me a 2001 4runner for MEGA cheap over christmas here. Was a really, really clean truck and very nice for no money. I passed on it because of where I'm at with this but....man...idk...lol.
Just want to focus on that project and not this damn pathfinder...lol. Plus the C6 needs a bunch of work for upcoming videos as well. Just want this damn thing done...lol.
I just got be a 95 pathfinder and I am excited about building thanks for showing the lift installation ive heard of the jeep gc fitting and seeing it really helps i was also gonna get the same tires
I just bought a second gen 1 pathfinder and I wanna make it a camping rig and you made a good point about the amount of weight that will be in the rear didn’t even think about that I was thinking about making a drawer system also for the rear to keep everything organized hope my trans doesn’t blow lol I’m new to the pathfinder scene I usually buy Subaru’s and I have my Sti being build and love that it’s a nice overlander and second vehicle to have as my Sti gets like maybe 10 mpg on a good day 😂 the pathfinder gets like 16 and that’s soo much nicer but definitely enjoy the content keep it up!
Pathfinder got finished, back to the trail, then saw its demise. There is a video that is mountain rescue and shows a jeep with a winch out and nighttime lights. That video shows how the Pathfinder ended.
The last video with the Pathfinder is the mountain rescue video. The xterra tranny, lift, tires ans things were done and on the inaugural offroad outing...it all went bad. Link to that below ruclips.net/video/XAgRREZRx9E/видео.html
The pathfinder was damaged in the off road incident that was shown here with a mountain rescue. Once I assessed the damage, I decided I had to let it go. I needed something reliable for a daily and the Pathfinder was unable to do that, at that point. So, the Pathfinder is sold.
I struggle to see that...those fronts were way up there. Maybe the seat allows a lot of slack. I'll be able to mend it well though...wont see it I dont think

I have a same car but when driving lots of heat comes in to the car from the engine without overheating. What can be the cause of this?

Nice to see a video the echoes how I feel sometimes doing projects.

Thanks for sharing, know all about stalled projects and motivation, been a tough year for us all.
I look forward to seeing it come together!
I'm gettin there...slowly but surely...lol

I have a Nissan pathfinder R50 and I like it because reliable and easy to work on and not expensive
Great build and thanks for the moment of honesty. I agree there is lots of stuff omitted from youtube videos.

Hey bud I'm about to start pulling my transmission, also what light pod mount do you have?
I made them from Jeep mounts...look for my off road lighting video with the pathfinder in the thumbnail
@@KnightDriveTV oh ok I made some also just didn't have double lights I have jeep hood mounts that I'm gonna mount to my hood for a 22" bar
Where did you find that spare tire cover. I have a 95 pathfinder same colour too! All it’s missing is that sweet cover.
Hahaha...yeah, it's very "retro" feeling. It came on the Pathfinder when I got it. Definitely was like man...that's a keeper there...lol.
Did you cut the Electrical Harness
Saludos desde chile, buen video!
Hey I am doing an emergency engine swap and I can’t get the drive train off
It's a BEAR!!! Only by the Grace of God is mine coming to fruition
whats up with this pathy now? Any tips to getting out and new one in

This was the last video on the pathfinder. Any updates?

Could have just pulled the front passenger seat wouldn't have to cut your carpet
