Hi Olivier. Just a question about the logitech embody, which i bought recently and followed your excellent set up video on. I'm 173cm and 70kg but I'm finding even at the lowest height setting and with the minimum seat pan depth when I recline back in this chair my feet and legs tingle and go numb after about 20 to 30 mins. This seems strange because others of my height and shorter haven't reported this. Any thoughts?

      Hey dear! 2 questions:
      - do you feel a pressure point under your thoughts when you recline?
      - why do you recline for that long?

@@OlivierGirard Hi Olivier. Thanks for your reply! I feel some pressure when I recline, but I must admit I was surprised when I noticed my feet tingling because it's not uncomfortable on my thighs. I use my chair mainly for work (up to 8 hours per day but often less and I sit upright or mostly upright). But at night I like to play videogames about two metres from my desk for 1 to 2 hours on a big screen, and I prefer to lean back for this. Last night I tried using a Moroccan pouf as a footstool, raised the chair height so I could put my feet flat on it and only went to the second last recline point. That felt way better.
I think my last remaining issue with this chair is the backfit. It's tough to know whether it is helping or hurting depending on how "tight" I make it. I'm currently trying to find the correct adjustment by tightening the tilt tension all the way to create a hard back, and then moving the backfit to try and make it fit my back. My issue though is to make the lumbar bump hit my belt area, as you instruct, I must have it at the loosest position. If I tighten it then the bump moves up my back (although others have said this then "fills in" the curve in your spine, which does feel slightly better I think). So I'm unsure whether to stick with the slightly uncomfortable bump in my belt region, or move it higher where it feels a little better but might not be positioned correctly (I don't have great posture with slight forward neck and rounded shoulders, though I have been improving that the last few years by walking with my head held higher).
      Thanks for any thoughts.

I like people using Moroccan poufs. I used to live there, and my son is 50% of one :) ! Joke apart, I have a double concern:
      - I suspect that your tingling comes from a pressure point above the knee fold when you recline, which can sometimes be reduced by lowering the chair (but then, you have to assess the impact on keyboard height = neck strain)
      - reclining can hurt your neck: ruclips.net/video/Fa4SFs85too/видео.html. Probably nothing to do with your current discomfort, but still... especially given the description you make of your usual posture.
      Does this help (a bit)?

@@OlivierGirard Thanks for your response. I spent three weeks in Morocco and loved it. Great country.
Regarding my chair issues I actually had zero pain in my old gaming chair, but knew it wasn't properly ergonomic so decided to splash out on this ergonomic "gaming" chair.
While at first I found it comfortable, over the week I've been using it I've had the tingling in my legs whenever I recline (but I can't lower the seat and the seat is actually lower than my previous well-padded chair).
The back now also hurts me, especially if I tighten up the backfit.
Maybe this is just what I need to go through to adjust to having an ergonomic chair. Today, for example, I've tightened up the backfit a little to provide some lumbar support and am trying to sit with my back only just touching the backrest (whereas normally I would sit fully resting my back against the seat). This is how you advised to sit in one of your posture videos (well almost, perfectly upright is too difficult for me at present).
I also am not gonna recline for gaming anymore past the second lilt limiter position. But this kind of sucks because I enjoyed relaxing in that way.
