The chateau is awash in cameras and tripods, but normal chateau life continues with wonderful dinners, carpentry, soap making and floristry - and Mummy gets very excited about a toaster and kettle!

I actually laughed “out loud” watching Isabelle showing the HUGE instruction booklet for her Toaster! Thanks for making me smile!
Manuals like that are required by law, the instructions have to be given in all the officials languages within EU. The black tabs on the side mark each language, so it is clear that the instructions are in fact only a couple pages long. The instructions will include the warranty and who to contact if assistance is needed.
How cool would it be if someone made you a mould of De La Lande so you could give your guests soaps xx

Its not that hard to make silicon molds. The hardest part is making the form that will be used to cast the mold. If they know someone thats good at carving or sculpting they could make the model!

What a fun day! Little Diesel is a “show stealer” lol. He’s a cutie. LaLande was very fortunate to have Selmar join the family this year. He has made so many beautiful and lasting contributions to LaLande.

Strangely, the smell of Provencal herbs in the heat of summer is one of my favorite childhood memories as well from vacationing with my parents in France and Spain.

@@catherineh9873 I wouldn't have a problem with the volunteers if she wasn't making so much money off of patreon. She's had volunteers for years and can now afford to pay them. I do think at least half of the patreon money should be spent paying the volunteers. They are literally running her business...

I have been looking for ways I can help out around the chateau when I sign up to be a work away-er, besides helping you sew curtains, and I love to film and edit. I have been planning on coming either before or after I finish university, when ever I have the funds to do so and if this virus ever lets up. So if you need help filming and editing, I would love to help out in any way I can. What a wonderful video Stephanie, I love seeing the magic that goes on at your beautiful chateau. I am in love with those rose soaps, they are so delicate and beautiful. Definitely gonna need that mold and make some of my own.

There is nothing like having Michael at LaLande! It is always great there, but he makes it even more special. Love Selmar’s hipster look...it really suits him and the tie kicks it up a notch!
