The thunderstorm scene was so marvellous. Romantic and impressive... It gave such an air of ancient power to your chateau. You saw how this building has been standig her ground through the course of time. Just wonderful.
Georgia Ludewig I completely agree. I’m so glad they put that rain scene in; probably seemed like nothing for them, but all of us loved it! I love how you could see the storm rolling in from so far away. There’s no better sound than rain on a tin roof! I’d be up in my room in the tower every time it rained.

When you said about the water spraying everywhere in the master bedroom en-suite it’s probably because the water level is not high enough. I have one and it sprayed everywhere but then we realised it was because the water didn’t go over the jets on the side of the tub, it was below them
Yeah, I was just about to comment that. You have to fill the jacuzzi up until it's over the jets, then you turn the jets on. Otherwise it's shooting water from the jet system all over the room. :D

I’d love to wander the grounds and the Forrest and smell every Rose bush! Such a lovely Chateau.
Bidè is the pinnacle of civilisation.
I love this channel. Both you and Stephanie are such genuine people! So glad I came across both of your channels!
I'd love to see the gifts that people send you. Also, I'd watch any restoration and also any events that go on at the chateau, like pictures before the big parties or weddings when everything is set up. All of it sounds amazing.
You're so lucky you're getting rain like that! Here in Southern Germany we've only gotten a light five-minute drizzle at best in the past month. Everything's really drying up...
Thank you to 'Escape to the Chateau DIY' for introducing a world of dreamers to Stephanie and yourself. I love the opportunity to live vicariously through your vlogs. The depth and breadth of your go-getter views on life is inpiring. To see people living their passion is such a treat. Thank you for the generosity of your content and the opportunity to dream.
What an incredible guesthouse! Luv you Michael!🇨🇦
Michael you're so talented! From sewing to gardening to serious DIY restoration you do it all! Thank you for sharing the chateau with us! Also a huge fan of Stephanie's channel :)
