    A funny story about derma rolling, and I have been derma rolling my arms for about three months now. I'm a bodybuilder but have lost some size in the last couple of years since I'm in my early sixties. The funny thing, I'm all about doing this as sterile as possible. However, I sit outside and do this on my front porch because I like to use a spray bottle with aloe vera juice as a lubricant while rolling. When I'm finished I use a moisturizer with retinol. Funny, one morning I had just done one entire arm and went to grab my spray bottle of aloe vera and accidentally grabbed a spray bottle of fish fertilizer I spray on some of my plants. Talk about freaking out when I realized my mistake. Fortunately, no infection!! 🤣

    At home microneedling is one of the best discoveries I've ever made😄

    Derma PEN/ Stamp (up to 2.0mm) is better than a Roller! Rollers cause more damage as they DRAG through the skin, rather than UP/DOWN in one 🕳 hole.😊

      Can this device be used at home or has to be used by a specialist?

      Most derms at that depth are going to say have it done by a specialist/derm. Or if you do it at home, a numbing cream would be advised.

      That's the whole point of this whole process. To cause damage to the skin. So it adapts and regenerates. 😊

      @csakzozo U want REFINED PRECISE "Damage"! Like saying as a Body builder a CAR CRASH is good, cos it's trauma to the muscles...🤣🤣🤣

    I use dermapen and RF microneedling in my office and I personally love them as they are very effective. But I must confess I sometimes use the RF microneedling device on myself without the RF. And it's still great! :-)

    For icepick scar, can we do 1.5 mm microneedling??

    • @db-gb5xi
      @db-gb5xi 7 месяцев назад

      At depths like that derms recommend having specialists/derm do that and don't recommend doing it at home. Some people do use a numbing cream if doing at home.

    That pillow looks really uncomfortable, it doesn’t cover the space between your shoulder and neck and you look cramped.

      My brother tried it and he said it worked but was incredibly painful. If you've had a head tattoo you'd probably be okay with microneedling too.

      Its not very painful in my case i use it sparingly to avoid wounding and infection, and have results

      I've been using it for hair loss, but hasn't been long enough to report results. I even once heard a dermatologist (male) say that it almost brought him to tears. I probably push down harder than most, and I don't even consider it very uncomfortable at all.
