This has literally destroyed my life, my relationships and my ability to earn a living. Can you please let me know of any doctors near or in California that can perform this surgery. surgery should be the last step.. I had a major spine surgery.. and I experiencing occipital neuralgia from last 3 months.. it is crippling. but I would rather have non operative procedures first before going in for a surgery.. the spine surgery has taught me that there are pros and cons of having surgeries.. I am hoping the non operative procedures will help me..sorry for Michael he had to endure it for years and may be surgery was the best option for him.. but I would rather exhaust all other options before going in for surgery.. I want to try everythig else in a month of two.. so I can say I have tried everything non operative... the mistake I made with before my spine surgery was.. I had given up.. but I won't give up now.. I will push for trying every procedure out there...including surgery.. but surgery will be my last option

Wat kind of surgery wwas it
surgery should be the last step..
The only real short term treatments are Occipital nerve blocks and Botox.
Your 6 months in, how do you feel now?
I have this a so so painful I thought maybe had encephalitis or something as in bed more than out and live in dark room
I have been in pain for over 4 years, had many procedures done and seen different types of doctors and still no relief. This sounds like what I have. What is this surgery? I’d like to know more. I need to get better and back to work. Thank you!

Hello have you tried stem cells for your condition?
The solution is acupuncture. I suffered from occipital neuralgia with no help from doctors. After going to acupuncture for five sessions it went away.
@@advancedreconstruction aside from the intake form can you share what is the name of the surgery?
@@BeatlesTranscriber the problem with that is having a acupuncturist that understands this specific condition. And since this condition (which I have) can be caused by a lot of different things (blood vessel pressure on nerve, tumor, cervical instability or cervical damage, local infection etc.) It won't help all these issues.
Hey I have a question where are you guys located?
Hello, we are located in New Jersey.
Is head squeezing and pressure occipital neuralgia . I started getting squeezing sensation after vertigo which hasn’t gone away. How do I know if it’s occipital neuralgia who can I see please recommend someone in Chicago
Head squeezing pain resonates more with IIH. Some have both conditions. I would see a Neuro-ophthalmologist.
@@dheeshakti948 thank you. I saw like 3 neurologists and they were of no help whatsoever, was very frustrating. I had the head squeezing/pressure for 5.5 months 24/7 but now seems to have stopped, however I have other symptoms that developed and have tightness squeezing in my fingers and legs and sometimes mid back. I can’t find the doctor to investigate this further as my brain scan and blood work came back as “normal” I’m being ignored and dismissed left and right 😥
Pain management they been helping me
