It would make sense if there was some news to speak of, but a few of these vids just seem to be out of fear that the Oilers can actually put something together. This knocking on the door that Edmonton has been doing is only starting to attract talent on it's own, they have opportunities to improve even more at trade deadline this season, but their ability to get another chance in the finals will decide a lot for the long term

I'm really hoping mcdavid and drai can win a cup here it would be such a huge meaningful win. If he wants to leave, let him leave. But one thing forsure is he likes playing for appreciative and
knowledgable fans which he has in Edmonton. He’s also got all the coaching staff there that he requested. All he’s got left to do is ask nurse to take a pay cut or remove his NTC. I think he would take a pay cut to win a cup and he knows he’s being overpaid for his performance. And leave Kane alone. He will be back next season stronger than he’s ever been. Like I said, some of these players need to be like Nugent Hopkins and take a pay cut, and step up their game to be part of a dynasty. And they better start protecting McDavid. Perry isn’t doing it and the only person we have that will do it is Kean. Nurse doesn’t fight any more. Like I said, he has to take a 4 million dollar cut in pay. I think he will to stay on this team
