How crazy is it that everyone just forgets about that career threatening PCL injury? Literally came back better than ever from it.
I am a Leafs fan, but I absolutely love Connor McDavid. He is a great ambassador for the sport. His compassion towards Ben Stelter was so heart touching. What an amazing human being, not to mention world class athlete.
The scary thing is if he didn't have that injury. Imagine what he'd be doing out there

am surprised that he suffered 2 serious injuries while wearing protective gear for his shoulder and knee .. especially the knee where the shin & knee guards are very thick and absorptive of impacts .. to collide with the post and get that much damage is hard to believe .. yet here he is at the top of the game despite it ...

6:04 I think it's a bit important to note that the Oilers haven't been in the playoffs since 2006 at that point. I'd assume most hockey fans knew that, but it's a pretty important detail for non-hockey fans that are stumbling across this video.

Been an oilers fan since the 80s,, had a love hate relationship with the team since the gretz trade and messier later on. Different era for the game. Anyways, if the Oilers can't get the cup done in the next 2 seasons, I hope McDavid signs elsewhere, I want to see him win a cup or more, don't need to see his career and goals ruined because the Oilers management can't get their shit together.
