Today we ripped out some of the interior and added a 7" round over in the port. Finally broke 160 at the dash but i know there is more in it! time to brace the roof! Subscribe and see if i gain any more DB!

I am aware of that. My point is that outside of competition, like with this build, having the mentality that you will keep pushing to hit your desired "Score", stops you from getting lazy and just saying "Eh, loud enough" when you can do more. Maybe I phrased it badly but it made sense to me.

Ronnie Emerson Nahhh, still has to do wood re-enforced and foamed floor, roof, and doors. He could rebuild the dash if he wanted, and it looks like some plexi and steel windshield would be help lol.

that 3ee is suffering right now pull it out do a 1 gen 5efe swap or a 4efte swap or a 1 gen 5efe turbo so engine can go along the alt hi consuming power
jose m i have no idea what those other engine codes are but the word "swap" ain't gonna happen hhahah......the BEST case scenario i put the same exact motor back in. The likely scenario i use this car till it blows up and get rid of it at the local dump (after taking my equipment out anyway) :D

Hey Steve what's the best shallow mount twelves? For a single cab
McGuire Elliott not sure...there are several brands that are great. Just need to pick one with a good reputation that fits your power needs and budget.
McGuire Elliott if you're not going crazy with power (200-400 watts rms per sub) kenwood's new flat subs are kickass. KFC-XW1200F. really tight sound and impressive output in ported box. very musical for a flat sub. if you're going for more power i'd go for a JL audio TW3 or TW5. again kickass subs, higher power handling and probably the best shallow mount subs for SQ. little more pricey but you get a lot better woofer.

McGuire Elliott it's hard to say man, everyone will have different tastes. i'd personally go with a single 12" TW3 in a box 1.5-1.8 cubes, tuned 27-30Hz. jl doesn't post ported box specs for the TW3 but it actually has more excursion than the W3 so they handle lows very well for that power range especially for shallow mounts.
