I was one of the Intel i9 13th gen affected by their recent problems. I am switching to AMD as soon as they release their 9950X3D version so is nice to see these NEW mobo being released as well. I will get one of these as well once everything is available.
Nope, then you gotta wait for for PCIe 5.0 graphics cards, lololol. I'm a computer engineer, haven't build a personal pc in 8 years. I usually get the best... but never really had to wait for so many piecemeal releases for a complete system. Seems insaine and a manipulation of the customer, all these parts are ready to ship if they havent already, so I guess they made the decision for me... just gonna have to build a much cheaper PC, most economical not the best. Can't wait for their marketing team to decide to release, not for these high prices, not for this low level of support from the mfrs, nor their continuous screwup. Seems the world has changed in the last 8 years... best of the best is no longer required for what I do with current performance rates... that proart x870e was calling me, but guess I might as well go b650 instead, much cheaper processor instead of the 9950x... or I might just go Intel at this point, mobos tend to be released in parallel or at least they used to be, not sure if Intel still makes mobos... I'm rusty. All suggestions welcomed, still not sure whst graphics card to get.
@@wyx087 I have to agree - so you could see at a glance what’s shared with what and if that second SSD is stealing lanes from something else and what’s connected to CPU lanes and chipset lanes
The HIVE is not supposed be in the case LOL. Thats the whole idea of having it independent from the board. It has magnets tho so you can stick it to your Case if thats what you want. You can use double sided tape as well.
@@powerhouse884 Yeah Hive is usually for having on your desk as it has ports and power on it - yes it's an external sound card but you kinda need access to it to use most of its features
@@robertmorrison4020 I put mine under my Desk in the Edge underneath. Ease access to the USB port. If your case is aluminum you can magnetize it on the side.
Asus for me so far was just crappy … the x670e really any worse than the previous ones … the Rog Strix B550 e dead on arrival … the Rog Strix x570 e died quite quickly … the replacements as well.
DIMM slot retention, wait are people breaking their DIMM slots and that it needs to be reinforced? I thought it was already pretty fool proof... do people use a hammer to insert their DIMMs?
The white one is "not lost". I personally can't even take black pcb ram, only one I've been fine with is a black pcb graphics card of the "7" kind, not "9".
I'm an Asus rog strix fan also Gigabyte Aorus but I didn't buy Asus rog strix x670e-e but instead I brought Gigabyte Aorus master x670e, I heard a lot of problems on Asus motherboards. So I brought Asus rog strix monitor , Azoth keyboard and mouse rog keris aimpoint wireless

You know what would be really useful on Q-dashboard? A wiring diagram of PCIe lanes, which slot/chip is connected to where, lanes, speed, etc.

I've got to ask the obvious question: what's the warranty like?
I like the ProArt. Do these come with an AIO?
Wut? Why would it.
if you get your hands on the itx board, could you potentially check for liquid freezer 3 compatibility?
Will do. Just got my hands on the LF3 so it will be one of the first things I check. Anything else do let me know!
@@CrazyTechLab Please check NH-l12sx77 or equivalent footprint too please!
@@CrazyTechLab thank you, earned your sub ^^
@@CrazyTechLabyes this is important, the x670e it’s strix sadly doesn’t fit if you want to use both m.2 slots,
I will be waiting for review this mini-ITX board. I wonder how there will be pricing 🙂
You and me both!
Will they release this in BTF?
The itx board has 2 m.2 in the front, do you know if it has one at the back?
@@turagkhan3469 Just two sadly!
Thanks for the video. Any word on price?
Not yet no - soon hopefully!
Where can I buy one?
They will be released next month
Everywhere where they sell Asus motherboards.
I wish you more reviews like this on a regular basis. Likes and subscriptions to you from faraway Russia.
Noted! It's been a popular video so I'll see what I can do!
Why did they not make an X870E-I?
They kinda did - the ROG STRIX X870-I. It's just got the standard X870 chipset, not the 'Extreme' version like the X670 board did. Not much difference
X870-i for me!!!
I like the idea of the hive hub on the itx motherboard I just wish Asus made an itx case that has a dedicated spot to put the hive

No BTF boards??
I'm sure they will follow
I hope these motherboards are better and more reliable than x670e mobos. I couldn't build a computer for last 3 years due to their issues!

Really? I've been using the X670E here as my main test rig for Ryzen and PCIe 5 SSDs - not had any issues
