    We're checking out the ROG, Strix, TUF and ProArt motherboards to see what Asus has in store when X870 boards are available in the very near future.

    I was one of the Intel i9 13th gen affected by their recent problems. I am switching to AMD as soon as they release their 9950X3D version so is nice to see these NEW mobo being released as well.
    I will get one of these as well once everything is available.

      Nope, then you gotta wait for for PCIe 5.0 graphics cards, lololol.
      I'm a computer engineer, haven't build a personal pc in 8 years. I usually get the best... but never really had to wait for so many piecemeal releases for a complete system. Seems insaine and a manipulation of the customer, all these parts are ready to ship if they havent already, so I guess they made the decision for me... just gonna have to build a much cheaper PC, most economical not the best. Can't wait for their marketing team to decide to release, not for these high prices, not for this low level of support from the mfrs, nor their continuous screwup. Seems the world has changed in the last 8 years... best of the best is no longer required for what I do with current performance rates... that proart x870e was calling me, but guess I might as well go b650 instead, much cheaper processor instead of the 9950x... or I might just go Intel at this point, mobos tend to be released in parallel or at least they used to be, not sure if Intel still makes mobos... I'm rusty. All suggestions welcomed, still not sure whst graphics card to get.

    You know what would be really useful on Q-dashboard? A wiring diagram of PCIe lanes, which slot/chip is connected to where, lanes, speed, etc.

      @@wyx087 I have to agree - so you could see at a glance what’s shared with what and if that second SSD is stealing lanes from something else and what’s connected to CPU lanes and chipset lanes

    • @CrazyTechLab
      @CrazyTechLab  2 месяца назад

      They kinda did - the ROG STRIX X870-I. It's just got the standard X870 chipset, not the 'Extreme' version like the X670 board did. Not much difference

    I like the idea of the hive hub on the itx motherboard I just wish Asus made an itx case that has a dedicated spot to put the hive

    • @powerhouse884
      @powerhouse884 2 месяца назад +2

      The HIVE is not supposed be in the case LOL.
      Thats the whole idea of having it independent from the board. It has magnets tho so you can stick it to your Case if thats what you want. You can use double sided tape as well.

    DIMM slot retention, wait are people breaking their DIMM slots and that it needs to be reinforced? I thought it was already pretty fool proof... do people use a hammer to insert their DIMMs?
