Owner of Z690 Extension Glacial here. 2000€ motherboard. Burnt a capacitor or something after almost 3 years, barely still in Warranty. RMAd it and got it back with the repair note mentioning they changed a capacitor, foam (?) and updated the bios (?). Installed the mobo and it still won't power up for more than 0.5 sec. Tried 2 PSUs and nothing connected to the mobo, it doesn't even check if RAM exists
With the Crosshair Hero, two M.2 slots are useless if you want to use the full 16 lanes for the graphics card. So you can only use one M.2 Pci-E 5.0 and two M.2 Pci-E 4.0!
After more than 20 years of beeing an Asus customer (my first Asus mobo was an Asus CUSL2 for PIII) and after the latest expriences with Asus in the last 7-8 years, after the latest super expensive (1200€) Z690 Extreme motherborad, I would never install an Asus mobo on my computer even if you give it me for free. Your lack of quality assurance and your customer service is the reason why stay far away from Asus. Bells and whistles for crappy products, this is Asus.
Ive been trying to see the customization of that screen on the hero but seems impossible, its like a taboo that no one shows. Thats cuz that giant ROG is awful. As a big fan of ROG my pc has been full ROG for years but idk whats happening with designs lately, i hate them
Nice motherboard, but your bad support prevents me from buying any product from Asus ever again. A swollen battery inside a ROG Falchion keyboard and they can't even tell me which f**cking model of the battery I should buy to replace it.
you forgot to say they make decent gear but when they go wrong, and they do, enjoy the weeks wating for the RMA and then, they send you a second hand repaired product that wasnt yours in the first place. They then charge you for scratches on the failed product which failed when you updated the bios that wasnt your fault. Never buying a Asus mob ever again. MSI much better customer support, bios and use. ROG stands for Really Overpriced Gear
Bought the Crosshair X670E Extreme for 1100€ and I have only trouble with this board. You are forced to use Armoury Crate for the displays on it but guess what? Armoury Crate is a buggy bloatware which is even resulting in reboot errors when installed. As soon as you uninstall it everything is fine but guess what? the displays are useless when it is not installed 1100€ board where half of the features do not work - I am so done with ASUS after being a loyal customer for 15 years
How do you remove a GPU when it's in a case? I suspect you'll have to take the motherboard out, and then remove the GPU. Waiting for reviews from real users.
Too expensive, Crosshair 699$? Can get a Taichi for less than 500$.
Why doesn’t the Crosshair Hero have an Extreme version like the Z890 Maximus counterpart? No 10Gb Ethernet or big 5” LCD?
I absolutely love the X670E Crosshair Hero... has everything i could possibly evrr need. No complaints.
You charge entirely too much for these boards. Nearly every board should be reduced by $100-$200.

I love your motherboards I'm trying to find a new one right now I'm in between x670e-f or x870e-f
A new version of ROG Z11? More space for mini itx 4080 super :(

You're not the only one....I'm sixty I don't want "For Those Who Dare" splattered across my MOBO.
Did they just not make any MB that support Intel CPUs?
This is a release for AMD, why would there be any Intel boards?
@@tonizombie New to PC building. Was not aware of the split release methods for MB. Thanks.
Asus meant quality in the past
Its failing the last few years - Its like EA of hardware
why is there no proper representation or data on lane sharing

!X870
Asus = No Warranty :D
Z890 Apex is only one I get. AMD boards are waste. No gain
These MOBO's are gaudy and just ugly...who would want a HUGE ...TUF staring them in the face?

Depending on the case but the X870-I it’s a mini itx and have a rear mounted GpU with riser cable so easy peasy!
you pull the GPU from the left side of it
Asus PLEASE give me a montior (or a pc)
