2012. It’s autumn where I live. I play this on the living room, sitting on the floor while my cat sleeps on the sofa. The big window at my right shows a sunny and chilly morning, the tree in the garden now has yellow and brown leaves. My brother is at my side, helping me when I get stuck at some parts of the game. Mom brings us tea with milk and some cookies, and tells us to sit far from the screen, or our eyes will hurt. I don’t know it yet, but it will be one of my fondest memories in the future.
That moment beginning at 2:04 will forever be burned in my memory. Seeing a glimpse of that in a trailer sold me on the game, and playing through with that gleaming, golden-red sand and the meaningful motion...I get emotional every time I remember. I spent the first 2 minutes of the video waiting, knowing for certain that scene would be in the video but not knowing when.
Probably the most beautiful game I've ever seen, it says so much without ever saying a single word. And your video was sooo good. If you decide on making more videos about video games, I'd like to propose a few: Hollow Knight, Hyper Light Drifter, RiME and Shadow of the Colossus
I never had a PlayStation and I wasn’t aware of this game when it was around but I discovered the soundtrack a few months ago and fell in love with the concept of this game. We need more like it

I really wasn't expecting a game, but I'm also pleasantly surprised! You should definitely check out Abzu also, it's by the same company and the graphics are really really beautiful there too!
Abzu technically wasn't made by the same developer as Journey, but it was made by a bunch of people who worked on Journey and it has the same composer too!
@@Seth_M-T Yes, really interesting to see the development of that game after Journey. At the end of the GDC speech that Journey's art director did on the game, he says he is starting a company and is hiring. That would become Giant Squid and come to create ABZU.
Si on fait des vidéos sur les jeux vidéos, alors Shadow Of Clossus (l'original par contre, le remake a enlevé pas mal de l'ambiance surréelle du jeu) est juste un incontournable. C'est extrêmement cinématographique à tout point de vue, au point où la caméra est programmée pour avoir un cadrage et une composition digne de ce nom, même en mode "libre".

If you mute the audio for this and play Kiss of Life by Sade you will have an out of body experience. Everything she says syncs up with the video perfectly. "He built...a bridge to your heart, all the way...." That part plays at the exact moment they show the aztec drawings of the bridge leading up to the mountain. It's so perfect. Also well done man, I been binging all your videos during my music sessions
You should definitely do the beauty of Sky: Children of The Light (which is a game created by the same studio as Journey)... It’s absolutely stunning and full of wondrous aesthetics :)
Je viens de finir Journey, j'ai beaucoup aimé ! Et mon dieu qu'est-ce que c'était beau *-* Je pense que ma scène préférée du jeu est celle qu'on peut voir à 2:08 : la musique, la glissade, la montagne en fond... C'est sublime 👌 Bon, il y a aussi la scène où notre héros frigorifié se relève grâce à l'intervention divine qui est géniale (et toutes les scènes en fait, mais ces deux-là m'ont marqué). Mais ce que j'ai préféré c'est le lien avec les autres joueurs : au début je pensais que c'étaient des pnj, puis quand je me suis rendu compte que c'étaient d'autres joueurs j'ai été tellement surpris ! Jamais je ne me suis autant attaché à d'autres joueurs que dans ce jeu ! En tout cas ta vidéo lui rend très bien hommage encore une fois. On sent l'ambiance à la fois calme et épique du jeu dans cette vidéo ^^
J'ai vécu exactement la même chose ! Je ne savais pas que je jouais avec d'autres personnes, et j'ai adoré cette révélation. Et puis la scène de glissade... Incroyable

You should really do one of these videos for The Fall (2006). It’s an okay film, but the cinematography and the production design are just awe-inspiring.
More video games! I cant remember at the top of my head but I remember liking inside, god of war, last guardian, and I especially recommend shadow of the colossus
I remember playing this game for the first time (thnx to my friend) and I was so captivated by the visual in this game and how the story unfolded. Add a great soundtrack to that, you got yourself an experience. I recommend playing this game to those who haven't play it cause what a game this is.
mirrors edge catalyst and fallout 3 would be dope to be featured on. mirrors edge gives you a somewhat retro futurism type of vibe at least for me and fallour gives you a post apocalyptic vibe.

@@Gadget-Walkmen I just meant it's a really long game to go through to compile footage for, which can be difficult when you've got other projects to compile footage for as well.

If you’re thinking of doing more games you should absolutely consider doing Inside by Playdead. It’s not too long of a game but man it has beautiful shots in it.
Amazing how such a minimal and simple structure can develop such beautiful images. Nice video. Could you do Uncharted 4 or GTA V next. (Believe it or not GTA actually has some nice shots in it).
This is beautiful! I hope you do more videos based on games. If you do, might I recommend Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice? Not a long game, and it's one of the best looking ones despite its small indie budget.
