Chris, you’re such a lovely person. I have watched almost every single Vietnam videos of yours and your manner is something else. You’re always so respectful toward the elderly which is rare to see in these day and ages. Your Vietnamese is phenomenal. Keep up the good works.
Auntie Lan is so sweet. Food looks great. We had a Exchange student in town- She had some food from VN. was the best sausage I've had for a long time. (think it was 1974). Thank you for the video - always fun to see all the different food you find there.
His perfect Vietnamese makes people want to be friend with him and introduce him to their children. Bless ya heart Chris. Hope ya have a great time in Saigon.
True. It has strictly nothing to do with the fact that he’s white, hold an American passport and has money. It’s because he’s well-mannered and speaks fluent Vietnamese.
I got similar offers in the Philippines a few times. Taxi drivers trying to introduce me to their daughters or some other "beautiful girl" they know. (I don't speak any of the local language-they still made these offers in English. I'm a white American.)
@@Wulfstan1938 i feel what you mean but as soon as you know how grammar works its only a matter of learning each individual word and youre set for understanding and speaking.
