  • Another quiet month on the GN/GE joint line with just the regular traffic and little in the way of special workings, however with help from Peter Bester
I have put this months video together be it slightly shorter than usual.

Thanks, Roy, for another good selection, including various shed liveries and a couple of much rarer 69s. I think the new shelter has been nicely done, especially with its matching fascia. I do hope you enjoy your days out at Spalding as much as I enjoy watching the footage.

As always, a nice roundup from Spalding. Nice of them to put a shelter up for you Roy, somewhere to sit down and have a rest between trains.😀

What a beautiful video. I love the class 37s. I guess many parts of Lincolnshire are used as an agricultural area. Even here in Germany, I've once bought a can of white beans filled in Spalding. So Lincolnshire spills the beans, so to say ;) But this was a few years before Brexit, they mostly come from the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany itself today....

Great video Roy....can't help thinking that I still prefer the old 1980's station layout...so busy, lots of track formations?

Quite an attractive station really. I have a couple of questions. Do you know why the '170 came in on Platform 1 before crossing over on departure and what's with the 2 different EMT liveries? Personally I prefer the all burgundy one over the burgundy and cream one especially when the latter gets dirty

Hi Kray, Most of the Passenger trains use platform 1, it is by-directional, and there is still an issue with the lifts for platform 2, EMT cannot decide where to remotely work them from when the station is not staffed.
