ERIC cheers for your comment and thanks for your interest that I put the head codes for the freight workings, I’m pleased they are helpful for yourself. Regards Mike.
Ian that great that you have enjoyed my video, hope you find others on my channel you will enjoy, and give me a bad or good comment if you think I deserve it. Cheers Mike.
so with the main wires down you did very well indeed even getting the freight working out of Big'wade.. Peterborough is becoming a popular station for spotters and is handy for me. Nice to view this video mate.. cheers
If I didn't know better I'd swear the OLE on this route was made from cotton thread and candy floss, such is the regularity with which it fails. I am not a frequent traveler to London but even so I've been affected by this issue a number of times. A shame about the 91s. You would have thought the DMUs and Bi-mode IET sets could have traversed the March/Ely line to rejoin the ECML south or Cambridge...? Thats what I recall happening 3 years ago.
Yes I believe that line does get affected to many times with overhead wire problems, and they did send only two units via March but nothing came from London on that day. Thanks for your interest.
excellent shots of container freight👍 to see container freight i would have to go to London or further as there is no container freight through Kent even though we have the channel tunnel I like the convoy of rhtt i wonder if that was the 12 that came to tonbridge West yard as they came from Peterborough but when it arrived it had a class 66 sadly i missed it
Interesting selection from a busy seesion at Peterborough. Ironic that you went there to film 91’s and it was a 91 that caused the issue with the overheads.
Well it seems to me that there is quite a few who flout the YELLOW LINE Rule. Ohhhhh and they STILL haven't sorted the Breaking issue with those Grand Central Darth Vader trains yet. Great Vid Though Enjoyed it Thanks
That was a good long spell there Mike! Sometimes those days when things go wrong on the network throw up some interesting movements, but it seems it just cost you some 91s. Still,.plenty of freight and a couple of bonus Class 37 workings to enjoy.
great video Mike shame you missed out on the 91s, but non the less some great freight workings there loved the R H T T very rare you see them so clean yes really enjoyed it mike many thanks for sharing keep safe mate all the best Syd :)
Hello Syd hope you are keeping well, yes It was a good afternoon visit, all it means I will have to get over that way again to film the few class 91s that are still running. Cheers Mike.
All the years I have been going there I have had no problems Peter, the only time I ever heard of a problem was if you wanted to do a all-nighter. Thanks for watching regards Mike.
Great video but why didn't the gent in the blue top and balck pants stand with you, not in your line of sight as he did twice? Blocking someone else is something many Australian railway enthusiasts try to avoid doing. Pleasing to see much freight moving. I need to travel on that heritage railway at Peterborough if we are ever let out of our island continent.
Well thanks first for watching my video, yes like you I do my best not to stand in someone's shot, but it does happen very much, but that guy was there before me to be fair. If we ever get back to normal you get yourself across the world and visit that NVR.
Why do some Class 66s seem to have different idle speeds? Some idle much faster than the ones we get in Rugby Edit: Listen at 19:50 and again at 21:10, same sounding engine, just different speed
Love these freight flow films, all good for model reference as to what pulled what and when, thanks for this kind of video.
ERIC cheers for your comment and thanks for your interest that I put the head codes for the freight workings, I’m pleased they are helpful for yourself.
Regards Mike.
Excellent stuff Mike. Nice to see so much freight for a change. Well done 🤓 stay safe 💙
I was a little disappointed but I can go again. Cheers Mike.
Looks like you had a great day despite the problems, loved the 37 with the longest RHTT I’ve ever seen, thank you.
I was pleased I managed to get the one class 91 as I was there from 14.00 hrs to 18.00hrs Thank you very much for your comment. Regards Mike.
Great Content Mike once again, had yourself a busy day and got at least one Class 91. Cheers.👍
Well I will have to go back David, thanks for the interest. Mike.
Great video showing an amazing variety of traffic, just love the sound of the Cl.37 at 13:40. Thanks very much for posting.
Ian that great that you have enjoyed my video, hope you find others on my channel you will enjoy, and give me a bad or good comment if you think I deserve it. Cheers Mike.
Great video Mike loved the 37 with a decent train behind it.
Yes the driver it a good job with some sounds, plus it’s busy with sheds.
Really good video, as always well caught by yourself, lots of freight action and of course the trusty 37s! Thanks for sharing
Its a bonus for me if I get a class 37 on film when out and about. Thank mate for your kind comment.
A superb video with a great variety of freight, got to see some 91s myself soon
You have a few years still if you go over the right time matey. Thanks Mike.
Great video!
Top place for freight traffic mate.
Great video and love the way you don't follow the Loco making for excellent rolling stock shots.
Thank you for your comment about my filming, but I do follow the locos round sometimes, pleased you enjoyed this video.
I was gagging for another 37 on the end of the rht !!! Oh we'll never mind what we was good nice one Mike
Sorry Jeff that was out of my hands. Cheers Mike.
Good to see Name plates on them 66s thumbs up vid
Thanks Tony I used to take photos of nameplates before I got into videoing, so I have books of them which I might show one day.
Excellent one as always
Western Champion Man 2008. Thank you, I was disappointed when I heard what had happened but I can always go again to see some class 91s.
antman09ful1 I was at Doncaster same day, it was a mess getting back to York.
The temptation to hop aboard the empty freight trains and get a free ride to... Random.
It would be very bumpy, don’t think you would be able to hold on.
so with the main wires down you did very well indeed even getting the freight working out of Big'wade.. Peterborough is becoming a popular station for spotters and is handy for me. Nice to view this video mate.. cheers
Yes that was interesting that the freight coming up the ECML got past the obstruction 66005, and yes there was a few spotters about. Cheers Keith.
Great video, I really enjoyed it.
Thank you Philip I’m pleased you have enjoyed this video, please feel free to watch and comment on more of my videos.

That was a different train Barry, the 37 went to Stowmarket.
You just know when you see those nice blue wagons it’s got to be autumn time.
And when you can still identify the number of the loco hauling them!😆
Yes I bet it takes all year to get them clean up at York. Thanks Bryan.
One of my favourite loco's the Class 66s Mike.....I enjoyed the footage......Trevor.''
Thanks Trevor the video was a bit long as there was a lot of freight about. Mike.
quite abit of freight , nice video mate !
Thanks Thomas for taking a look, Peterborough in the afternoon is good for freight.
Interesting selection from a busy seesion at Peterborough. Ironic that you went there to film 91’s and it was a 91 that caused the issue with the overheads.
Yeah that is very true, but it turned out OK.
Well it seems to me that there is quite a few who flout the YELLOW LINE Rule.
Ohhhhh and they STILL haven't sorted the Breaking issue with those Grand Central Darth Vader trains yet.
Great Vid Though Enjoyed it
Thanks
John there was a lot of you should do issues going on that day, but I’m pleased you enjoyed the video.
Great video antman. Can I ask what you filmed it with and how you did the editing please ?
I use four different camcorders, I sure this day it was the Panasonic X920 Alan which you cannot buy new anymore.
That was a good long spell there Mike! Sometimes those days when things go wrong on the network throw up some interesting movements, but it seems it just cost you some 91s. Still,.plenty of freight and a couple of bonus Class 37 workings to enjoy.
Spot on that comment Darren, I was a little disappointed but I have a few years I hope to see some 91s. Cheers Mike.
Nice one mate loved 37218 some amount of RHTT wagons behind her.
Yeah it was good to see them clean Callum. Cheers Mike.
Some nice added interest Mike.
Thanks Tom, society distancing went out of the window with the passenger.
great video Mike shame you missed out on the 91s, but non the less some great freight workings

Excellent array of fright trains Mike, nice one. Pity the lack of 91s slightly ruined it for you. Great video nonetheless.
Well Matthew that’s the hobby for you, you get what you can, never mind it looks like if I get over there again I
Might get four sets of 91s
Very nice video Mike :)
Great Simon
The fun and games of that day!!!!! Just over 4 hours to get from FPK to PBO. Not what you need finishing at 2145 .
You certainly had a terrible time didn't you, cheers for your comment.
very good job on that day how are peterbrough staff with spotters
All the years I have been going there I have had no problems Peter, the only time I ever heard of a problem was if you wanted to do a all-nighter. Thanks for watching regards Mike.
@@antman09ful1 cheers mike ,think i will stick to grendon when i get time,or closer to home hangmans bridge at caldicote
Are all these container train going via the joint line through Spalding and Lincoln?
Yes if they are going North they go that way Sam.
Does the Bow-Heck also pick up at Biggleswade or are they seperate trains?
Sam I’m sure it does pick up there, as I’ve seen a video with the loco in the siding. Thanks for your interest. Mike.

Where did rht train start from Nice video saw them shutting some of the rht tanks Carlisle
Tell you in the video Pete, thanks for your interest.
thought a few 91s were staying with LNER?
Yes that's right Dave till 2023.
Why do some Class 66s seem to have different idle speeds? Some idle much faster than the ones we get in Rugby
Edit: Listen at 19:50 and again at 21:10, same sounding engine, just different speed
I know what you mean but I'm sorry I don't have the answer, but thanks for watching my video.
Couldn't they have diverted some of the expresses to King's Cross via Cambridge at the very least? Poor passengers
TheAmir259 there sent two trains that way, but no LNER trains came from KX.
Thanks very much for your interest.
Many thanks for the video; sadly raised voices with no social distance at 13:15
There was a lot of that going on the middle of the platforms by the stairs because they was crowded. Thanks for watching Paul.
Network rail generators and fuel tanks for doing line work.
What are you referring to Andrew. ? Would it be the RHTT
@@antman09ful1 Yes. The 37 Unit is pulling a network rail maintenance supply train.
My city 😀
Nice one, and a busy station for freight. Thanks for watching.
At 13 mins was that a class 55?
No it was a class 37 Marcus.
37218
The intrusive music meant that I couldn't 'ear the commentary, shame.
Sorry can't do nothing about that.
66760 thanks
66760 David Gordon Harris, thanks for watching.
Nice surprise @ 12:37 😆😆
Thanks for watching Baz.
